Salutations, Soul Campaign!

During June's mod post we mentioned that the bulk of the next plot will be occurring in July. We will actually be kicking off that plot during the last week of June. Before that though, we need to get some willing victims volunteers for the next plot!

For phase one of the next plot, characters who sign up for certain missions will find themselves attacked and subdued by Witches while they're abroad. What is their aim? Well, some time ago, the Kishin Asura had appeared near Death City, causing the Guests to go insane but also to regain a small fraction of their original powers (these will need to be approved once we have a definite list of candidates). That information has made its way to the ears of a Witch and she's interested to see if it's true...

Of course, the Witches don't know who has powers that BREW has suppressed, so feel free to sign up even if your character has no canon powers! Even if they have no canon-powers there is room for them to participate in this event as well. (Besides, it won't stop the Witches from doing whatever they had planned anyway.)

The missions will be OOCly assigned to the volunteers who are chosen so don't worry about signing up for something by accident! ICly, these characters would have signed up for the missions at the Mission Board.

This means that the characters will be gone from Death City for a few in-game days (but there will be a log for those who wish to log out the encounter with the Witch).

Due to the nature of this phase of the plot characters must be signed up as pairs because there are no missions for single characters. However, your character does not need a permanent partner for you to sign them up! All they need is someone to go on a mission with, so this mission is also open to all new characters as well.

Your characters will also play a larger role during the second phase of the plot which begins on the day change of June 16th which is July 19th to 22nd OOCly. Please be aware of that before you sign up.

There are up to 9 slots open for this event (so since there is a maximum of nine pairs being picked there can be 18 characters chosen.) If we get more volunteers than that, we will decide using RNG.

Soul Description (using the six adjective from your app): energetic, kind, nurturing, protective, determined, confident
What kind of personality would they work well with?: Umm... anything. Unless your character is a complete and total jerk, Chika should be able to work alright with any of them. She also has Soul BFF, so your character and her need to be really incompatible for her to not be able to resonate with them.

Meister or Weapon?: Weapon, Portal gun
Soul Description (using the six adjective from your app): Antisocial, laid-back, intelligent, useful, follower, cocky.
What kind of personality would they work well with?: Because he is pretty laid back, he works well with a lot of people. Blood thirsty/psycho characters probably not as good.

What kind of personality would they work well with?: Unfortunately she is nearly impossible to work with, unless your character has A LOT of patience and/or is as blood thirsty as her and/or doesn't mind that she is.

Soul Description (using the six adjective from your app): Loyal, Stubborn, Caring, Bratty, Adventurous, Spunky
What kind of personality would they work well with?: Anybody with a decent amount of patience for kids and wouldn't treat her much differently for being young. Someone willing to be gungho about participating in the mission but also knowing their limits. Also not someone who likes doing morally ambiguous stuff.

What kind of personality would they work well with?: Almost anyone- Cupid is the sort who will just as soon get along with someone who's constantly in a good mood as try to understand someone who never seems to be in one. Her zen can sometimes be a little contagious.
