Rescue Operation Coordination

Greetings, Soul Campaign!

Those that have gone missing have been found! That evening, Azusa held a meeting in one of Shibusen's classrooms for those interested in joining the final rescue operation, and informed them of the following:

-The captors are civilians all under the same banner, adorned in robes and venetian masks. It's heavily suspected that they may be the ones behind the current riots and anti-Shibusen picketing.

-The captives are under heavy guard in a forgotten tunnel system connected to the sewers. Investigation teams have discovered two entrances into this tunnel system, where the operation will head in and also flank the perpetrators. With the enemy occupied, a third team goes in to get the captives out.

-Mirrors will be placed and directed straight to the clinic. Medics will be on standby on the other side for immediate treatment of captives and fighters. Paramedics may also head in with the operation for emergency purposes and to ensure transport of the injured.

-With cooperation from the Death City Police Department, the goal is to subdue and arrest the masked individuals, and get our missing comrades back. Azusa will stress that these are civilians, don't turn this into a slaughter. However... self-defense is expected. (But that won't stop some of you, will it?) Live suspects = interrogations.

-Traps are undoubtedly littered around the tunnels, crude yet effective. Never underestimate human ingenuity. Proceed with caution. The operation will proceed on the morning of the 13th, with general clean-up of the tunnels for evidence taking place for a few days afterward. After which, interrogations may proceed.


This is your post for a little last-minute extra coordination before the big throwdown (remember: next day change is week-long!). Previous planning post is right here for reference! Will you be treating patients, whupping some tail, making arrests, disarming traps or hurrying a captive to safety?

Good. You can't just stay home and watch tv while Takuto goes to rescue his girlfriend, you know. But you can borrow some of Takuto's clothes while you come on the mission so you don't have to look like a ridiculous Crux villain. You'd get mistaken for the kidnappers, no doubt.

The cable is free no matter where you go in Death City!! Or are you really so selfish that you want Takuto to go into a deep dark tunnel all by himself?

takuto you've been through scarier things than going through a dark tunnel by yourself. but, i suppose it wouldn't be too much if he went along with you. after all we don't want you getting scared 8> he'll even let you hold his hand! just don't cut the circulation off, mmkay?

Oh btw, apparently Yuugi is supposed to drag Sugata around town after this event so that Takuto and Yako can have the apartment to themselves. WANNA HANG OUT AT THE PARK FOR A WHILE? He would totally take you to the arcade but Takuto says he has to take the dog, too. :T

HUZZAH. Since I am totally canonblind I have no idea how Yuugi and Sugata will get along buuuut I'm assuming Takuto's explained that Sugata is his friend/bro, in which case Yuugi will of course try to establish a friendship as well.

Which makes going to the arcade pretty much inevitable, since that's what good friends do. They go to the arcade.

YES!! but hmmm.... i'm sure sugata would get along well with yuugi. :|a he kind of gets along really well with everyone, really. well except save a couple of people.... but he'd still be polite to them, so. but okok, that sounds good to me! o/ any friend of takuto's will more than likely be a friend of sugata's as well. 8')

Ahah, Yuugi gets along pretty well with most people, too. You gotta be pretty shady and malicious to end up on his bad side. :|

BUT YAY, a park date it is. Takuto has such good roommates, giving him his privacy.

and aww yeah! i have to be at work soon, so we can log this out when i get back! (i work an insanely short shift today u_u so i shall be home around 5:30ish cst give or take.)

I might need a little more time to work on some other event threads before starting an after-event one, but I should be home around 9pm cst and we can talk more then! ♥

I can start it, I think I'm just going to work off of Takuto's that way if it crosses over somewhere.... since it's all happening at the same time... and because who even knows anymore at this point, it'll be in the same general area and easier to find?
