One more plotting post!

Okay, Agency people! I know there's at least a couple of us who are unsure about how our part in the Ryoki plot is going to work, so let's have our own plotting post here.

To sum up what we decided in the previous posts: the Agency members taking part in this are going to split up into teams and head to the Red Light District to investigate what Ryoki has been doing for the past 10 days. Copy-pasting what they're going to find out:


Mostly what Ryoki has been doing is going out each other night to bars. There, he gets in trouble with drunk people, but his targets are young adults or late teenagers. They are always targets he CAN beat up; he never fights someone who is super-strong-super-muscled and while he might exchange few words with those, he only beats up those he knows he can knock down. Ryoki is only satisfying his lust for blood and screams, hence why he doesn't pick a fight with someone that could win.
The time of these attacks are random, but they happen during the night. So far they all happened INSIDE the establishments; Ryoki is usually kicked out. This time it escalated and Ryo dragged the two guys outside to finish, and that's why near caught him on cameras (he was never caught before because there are no cameras inside the bars).
He also steals their money, by the way. No underage drinking, though, RYOKI IS A GOOD BOY.
Also, don't forget Ryoki once tried to rob the clinic for drugs and was arrested for three days at the time. It's not the first time he gets into trouble (won't be the last).


So first of all, we need to decide on teams. Once those have been figured out, I guess each team can decide where they're going and what kind of shenanigans they want to have.


If there actually have been plans for this that I just haven't been told about, speak up? Naoto's apparently leading the investigation, if I understood correctly? Also, someone needs to put up the log soon, I think.

Anyway. Let's start tossing ideas around, and hopefully get started before everyone gets busy with other plots!


EDIT: Alright, this is what we're going with right now:

- Franziska and Yako are going to look for a rendezvous point.
- Raidou, Alucard and Naoto are going to check out bars.
- Choushiro, Neku and Fuuka are going to ask around elsewhere in the district. You guys can decide among yourselves what exactly you want to do!
- Once the investigation is done, everyone will meet up at the rendezvous point and share what they've learned. Edgeworth is possibly joining us here.
- Reporting to Shibusen and the Watch can probably be handwaved.

If someone isn't happy with this plan, point dramatically and shout "OBJECTION!" now and we'll figure something out.

If you want, I can put up a log, BUT we might need some NPCs and... well, would we like a Log with Agency Team 1 and Team 2 split inside the log as threads???

Separate threads for the teams seems about right. As for NPCs... We could do them ourselves? Each team could decide what NPCs they'll need and who's going to play them?

General stuff:

- Make up teams --> go as teams --> shenanigans in the Red Light District --> midnight rendezvous --> ??? --> profit?
- If Edgeworth's a part of the investigation team then it looks like he'll be leaving on his own in the middle of it to track down Ryoki for himself. In a red motorcycle. It's here (http://soul-logs.livejournal.com/450184.html?thread=37792136#t37792136) and the image of Edgeworth in a motorcycle with his frills flapping in the wind cracks me up.
- So I guess the point of the investigation is for us to find out the full extent of what Ryoki's been doing. Since we already know where he lives and stuff like that.
- Split the log into threads? Starting point, Red Light District investigation, etc?

Team Up stuff:

- So far I think we're made up of Naoto, Raidou, Alucard, Choushiro, Yako, Fuuka, Franziska and I'm not sure about Edgeworth. I have an awesome memory and I may or may not be forgetting somebody.
- But if that's the case we have three males and four females. Three people of legal age (Choushiro, Franziska(barely) and Alucard is what... 300something? That counts, right?) and four underage (even if Raidou could probably pass as older... :|).
- We could split up depending on who gets along more, legal-underage, people comfortable with the setting-people less comfortable, IDK how you guys wanna do this but I'm pretty chill with whoever Franziska ends up being with.

Character stuff:

- After Near's post, Franziska's most likely going to be extra protective of the girls. Meanwhile you guys can trip over broken bottles for all she cares.
- She can lend someone a dog that's been trained to help with investigations. And if no one wants him, Alarik's staying with her.
- She's now a proud owner of a whip.
- She'll most likely be hitting bars. A fight might start if someone pisses her off.
- I kind of want this to end up with one NPC dude stalking Franziska while begging to be whipped.
- I can have her procure a room in some establishment (IDK what kind yet, probably a bar/restaurant and definitely not a love hotel) as a rendezvous point for when everyone's done investigation and ready to exchange info.

Schedule stuff:

- Auste(Edgeworth-mun) and I would probably not be free tomorrow because of stuff we have to do for our college organization which rules us out from putting up the log.
- I'll probably be braindead until Sunday depending on the number of people who ask for tarot card readings at the con.

That's a good point about the team-ups. Even if it would be hilarious if the guys went together and left the girls to hang around alone in bars.

How big do we want to make our teams, though? With seven people, we can either have one team of three and one of four, or one team of three and two teams of two.

Uhm... having pairs usually make for quicker tagging. Three's a reasonable number. Four might be too big unless the players have the same schedules. And four might actually draw out more attention from the people in the district since I doubt that the Agency members look like the people who hang out there.

Ahah... Naoto will have Franziska on her team if only for stopping Bar fights. Alucard should stick with Raidou since they're partners. Now, they could make up a team of four, but then that would leave Choushiro, Yako, and Fuuka. Fuuka has been in a red-light district before for... various reasons canonly and might not want to go(?). I mean, we don't need every Agency member on the field anyway, right?

And yes. I was also thinking if Franziska could just settle for looking for a rendezvous point instead of investigating since, odd-man-out she's the only one who isn't a detective (minus Alucard who's partnered up with Raidou).

Which means you guys could easily split up to two-two-two unless Fuuka doesn't join.
