COORDINATION POST FOR OPERATION ARIZONA.
Sup, Soul Campaign. Kae/Pammeth here, to do some Srs Coordination! \o/
Remember this post from Roy and Kerrigan? Last November 9th in-game, the two of them went on an assignment from Shibusen, and they’ve returned with information on a witch base in the Grand Canyon, Arizona! As such, Shibusen will be launching a full scale attack on November 26, in-game - that would be on the day change of July 1, out-of-game for US time. It will last an out-of-game week, as usual.
BASIC DETAILS
The mission has three objectives:
1.) Infiltrate the witch base in Horseshoe Bend, Grand Canyon, Arizona.
2.) Plant bombs in strategic locations around the base.
3.) Capture the witch in charge of the base.
Mission folks will move out on midnight on November 26, in-game, traveling through the mirror. They’ll set up camp a fair distance away from the base. The majority of the force will be devoted to assaulting the base from the front, in order to distract the witches from noticing the bomb squads and accompanying strike teams coming in.
This will be considered a Three Star Mission. Participants will receive 3,000 death dollars - participating Weapons get three souls each. Please remember: Weapons can choose not to eat the souls they get, but they CANNOT give them over to another Weapon. Also: you don’t need to be partnered up to join this mission; come one, come all! Unpartnered fighters will be given normal weapons to use for the battle, if they don’t already have some of their own to take along.
This post will now serve as sign ups for those who are interested in participating in the mission, and for those who want to help out. We’ll need people for the following positions or roles:
+ Assault Team. For the frontal assault on the base. For partnered pairs or unpartnered fighters.
+ Artillery. For the frontal assault on the base. For pairs whose Weapons take ranged forms, people who have temporarily partnered up with a ranged Weapon, or folks who know their way around ranged weapons.
+ Medics. For people with experience in healing and the like.
+ Reserves. For people behind the front lines. Their job is to protect the medics in case any stray kishin eggs break through.
+ Strike Teams. For people who will move into the base and draw fire away from the bomb squads. For partnered pairs or unpartnered fighters. Looking for eight teams, with 3-4 members each.
+ Bomb Squads. For people who will plant the charges in the base. For partnered pairs or unpartnered fighters. Looking for four teams, with 3-4 members each.
+ Kishin Egg NPCs. We’re going to need people to NPC kishin eggs, so if you want to help out with this, you’re more than welcome to! The mods will be lending out the NPC kishin egg account for this one.
SPECIAL NOTES:
+ The witch that Shibusen is out to capture will be in the EAST WING, and we will need two strike teams to take her down. There may be a lot of partnerships who’ll want to volunteer for this, so the mods will randomize the four pairs to do this instead. Please be reminded that your character could and will suffer major injuries from this one, some of them permanent.
+ Let us know if you want to face a kishin egg or not, and if you will need an NPC for it! You also have the option of facing against a witch, but please remember that witches are incredibly powerful and won’t be caught apart from the one indicated above. We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again: your characters can and will get seriously hurt, facing a witch.
