Plot and Warning?

So, it’s about time Leo gets the results of his blood test (see here) which will reveal that BREW somehow messed with his blood, making it so that he isn’t affected by the Fire Candy anymore  (at least while he’s at DC) which means that he won’t have to worry about dying from spontaneous human combustion and taking whoever’s close to him at that time with him* at any moment’s notice anymore.

Now that’d usually be a reason to be happy, but due to circumstances I am going to use it as a trigger to have him finally snap and have a breakdown, both emotionally as well as mentally. I’m not drama-mongering (at least I hope I’m not!), but this is something that has been building up in the series for what is hinted to have been years and, dammit, he finally needs to get it out of his system so that he can pick up the pieces and move forward again!

The breakdown will happen in two steps: first, there will be a closed post to the network and later at the same day there will be an open log where all the action happens. The latter will mostly consist of Leo being out in the city and trying to stir up trouble, possibly intoxicated. Should your characters decide to confront him he will first result to verbal attacks and threats and should those not work, continue with physical violence that might have traces of his berserk mode mixed in (think rabid animal). He will also become increasingly hysteric and may go as far as to try and provoke your characters into seriously injuring or killing him. (Or if they are a weapon and he somehow gets hold of them in their weapon-form, hurt himself with them.)

I’m planning to have all of this happen late at night so that it will be easier to handwave missing it for those who’d rather not get involved in (t)his mess and uh … I guess this is me asking if this is alright for you guys and if anybody’d like to plot with me?

This muse of mine runs patrols late at night. I'd be happy to have her involved in his crazy meltdown.

She's not afraid to get hurt, or back down from fights, and she's also a Weapon (a rocket launcher). Anything sounds fun, though I wouldn't want her seriously maimed at the moment. XD

No worries, even in berserk mode Leo probably wouldn't be able to do any serious maiming done unless he somehow manages to knock her down and go wild on her without any disturbance, which I think is pretty unlikely. ;) He will be trying to harm her and provoke her to hurt him as much as he can, though!

Rofl ok, mutilating himself with a rocket launcher would be a bit much. |D Is there any place that's best for them to meet at? Leo is probably going to prowl the less nice areas of the city since getting innocents involved who can't fight back is still not his style.

Seriously, I think it'd be interesting for her to see his 'animal' side (which is basically what his berserk-mode is; a raw maneater on the prowl) even if she might not like it. XD; He's also pretty focused on who he's fighting with, so I think we can prevent friendly fire against her or make it so that they meet but it doesn't come to a showdown between them?

asd Making him a better dhampir made me laugh for some reason and now I'm feeling bad for it. But yes, Leo has more than enough issues to serve that purpose even if he'll forever deny that! I don't think that he'd try to get into a direct fight with Alucard since he was one of the few people he gets along with better, but he might try and lash out at him if he comes close?

Thanks for the offer and I guess we'll see! I get the feeling this is slowly turning into a drive hunt against the poor boy which might be awesome if I can figure out a realistic way to prevent everybody ganging up on him (which'd end the battle very quickly).

I'm canon-blind with homestuck so it may be helpful if you could tell me how Karkat would react to being confronted with a mad half-lion who's seemingly out for blood. Depending on the circumstances he could get in when he's meeting up with Haru (which maaaaaay contain some bad language, just as a warning |D' ).

Seriously, though, it's been building up a really long way (mostly in canon before the game *kicks manga for being unfinished*) and I think that having it resolved that way will be better than having him terrorize himself and everybody else with his issues forever. ^^;

I don't know what you already have planned, but I'd like to not make trouble with the whole fitting into Leo's busy schedule and stuff. XDD I can offer the following:

Germany - can be anywhere, can get beaten up!!
Watson - can be anywhere, can get beaten up!!
Kuroro - can be anywhere, but is too strong to get beaten up, might troll him instead. :c But Kuroro could and would let him go about his business, since Kuroro is a dick that way.
Spirit - can restrain him if you don't have anyone.
Mifune - ....

But! Let's talk about punishment from the law if he does end up maiming a lot of people.

Omai, so many strong characters to beat Leo down!^^ I think Germany or Spirit may be suited best since Prussia and Haru (Jean mentioned that having Spirit and Leo fight would be fun when we talked last time and I agree~) expressed wanting to be in on this, though any other character you'd like to bring would also be more than welcome!

re:Punishment: I'm not sure how much of it will be necessary since Leo won't be going around intentionally attacking people who don't show that they're interested in a fight* and that he'll most likely end up needing the service of the hospital at the end of the night anyway.^^; That said, there's very likely to be injuries amongst the characters who confront him and I'm very much open for any consequences there should be! I also think that Leo'll calmly accept them ICly once he is back to his senses. (He's going to expect capital punishment.) Just contact me about what you think may be fitting so that I know how far I can go with him?

* I can't guarantee that he won't accidentally run one or two over or something - stupid innocent bystanders, always in the way :|

Oh wow, Leo's got a lot lined up for him! ;A; But I would really love to have Leon running into him. He hangs out around the Red Light District after patrol hours, but he's a policeman through and through, so he won't let Leo go easy if he sees him causing trouble. With that being said, I think my policeman would want to try to apprehend your juvenile delinquent XD Properly.

Leon would be very welcome, just be aware that Leo won't be very nice or uh, to his senses. |D; I think the meeting between Leon and Leo might fit well to either the beginning or the end of the chase? Leon trying to take him up would piss him for sure but it'd also be a nice touch for the end. : )

Depending on where it is I wouldn't mind getting Allen in on this? The only thing is he's on patrol from 6-12 so idk if I could feasibly swing him by if it's happening during his shift. But otherwise I would love to help restrain him 8)

There's already some people who are doing patrols involved (Lady & Selendis) as well as several other watch members so maybe he can learn about it that way? I also think that this is going to turn into something of a wild chase with Leo switching locations repeatedly (at the latest when Leo realizes that they're trying to arrest him and that some of the guys are stronger than him) so we can try and swing it that way if that's good with you. : )

The way things are atm Leo'll start his rampage close to the shady zone close to the red light district and then start moving once he realizes that people are trying to stop him and that some of them are stronger than him.

Considering the sheer amount of watch-people that are interested, I think that getting Roy involved would be fitting, but those others choices are also very tempting. (Especially since Nataku outed Mukuro as a 'normal' person to Leo a short while ago. |D ) I posted an update here (http://soul-ooc.livejournal.com/578988.html) so maybe you can take a look at it and then decide? :')
