THE VARIA.



right, from this link on the lone wolves page: varia's a bunch of folks who deal with working around shibusen and the witches, maybe even the cwc should they feel to hire them. the loyalties they have on both sides are kind of divided just because varia's always been independent canon-wise (-- till about ch140+ anyway where xanxus reveals his moeness, but we won't go there). by the time the plot rolls things are still fine and they've mostly kept a nice, quiet profile with both sides not knowing that they work together. near to the end they'd probably get discovered; xanxus will then flip a coin at that point as to which side they'll go. 8|a if xanxus is lucky he'd make it out alive, hahahaha

varia does assassinations, carrying their former job over from italy/japan/everywhere, but can also supply other things such as information, supplies, hostages, etc. i encourage both sides to submit missions! icly, we're talking mukuro on witchside, belphegor on shibusen side. some of them xanxus will accept; some of them he won't, especially if they're gonna compromise the other half of the varia (bawww manpower, wrong mission to be working at that time, etc). the one thing that varia will do above everything else is protect their own; hard to get rid of that mafia idealogy, bros, omerta and famiglia and all that. also, only the senior members know that they work for both sides (with the exception of some people who travel back and forth from S to W-side). does varia work with other people? yes, but expect abrasive personalities. or creepiness, if we're talking mukuro and lussuria. 8|

so far, those who are in the varia are the following (note that you don't really have to work for the varia per se; you can work with them, and so long as it's mutually beneficial or one-sidedly beneficial for them things are cool), along with proposed designations (S, W, CWC):


1) from the original varia, with modifications to allow for partners outside of the mafia

with KASAI the fucking old man/unwilling psychiatrist for your leader 8| by now, he will have mastered the art of burning things vol 1 and 2.

d) SQUALO the ghost 8|a (W)
with YAMAMOTO the other vongola brat

2) from the vongola

a) SHOUICHI the techguy (W)
with SPANNER the other techguy
b) MUKURO the creep (W)
with RHODE that other brat


1) and 2) will be your admins, 1a) especially. the other members are:

a) YOKO that chick (S, CWC, W?)
