Phase 2 Volunteering Results

Unfortunately, there were too many volunteers, so we had to choose the participants via lottery. We used a randomizer to select 25 characters: 10 for getting thrown into the dungeon, 9 for being subjected under the Moral Manipulation Machine, and 6 for going through moral manipulation plus helping feed souls to kishin eggs. The volunteers selected for Phase 2 of the 3-part February witch attack are:

Note that for characters being subjected under the Moral Manipulation Machine, it won't matter whether your character will agree to it or not, the witch's minions will force your character to sit on the MMM, which supposedly looks like a chair with shackles and a helmet that goes on the subject's head.

Characters going through the procedure and helping kill NPCs to harvest their souls to feed to kishin eggs can also go on patrols. We'll be putting up a log for all three groups to interact before Phase 3 begins.

How squishy are the NPCs? How easy would it be to kill the NPCs? Will they be able to put up a fight or are they just tied up there?

Can the witch's minions that strap other characters into the MMM be characters that were just MMM'd? Assuming permission from both parties, of course.

2. Will the characters be told beforehand what the MMM is/does or do they just have to go through it to find out/see what it does to other characters?

Chrono's probably going to put up a big fight before he's MMM'd--how strong are those minions going to be? Will he hurt them, or will they be able to subdue him, or will they have to threaten someone he cares about/use other MMM'd Guests to force him in....? =|a

Will MMM victims get weapons or special gear after they've been evilified? I sort of assume Mello, for example, would have his gun taken away when he's kidnapped. Will he get it back, or anything else to help keep prisoners in line, once he's been MMMed?

So this is a very weird chance for CR with her cause she'll probably be more willing to approach people than usual. Y'know, the evil plus probably losing most of the respect that's been pounded into her.

Also, he's a Meister; are there any MMM'd weapons who'd want to form a temp (evil) partnership for fighting the rescuers? This doesn't have to happen, but I think it'd be kinda cool.

This is weapon form. It's... a strange tonfa/crutch/bat/idfk
He has ONE special ability: impact. When the weapon hits its target, it forms an additional impact wave on the point of contact (aside the physical damage the weapon already does). That impact wave grows with the resonance, meister and ryoki's strength and it can go from throwing someone few feet away, to cause damage to the internal organs, and so on.

Since I'm still more or less hiatus'd, I probably won't be doing much with Sasame this phase. Chrono, on the other hand...I'll definitely throw him into the log after he's kidnapped. With his morals manipulated he'll be more violent and aggressive in general, but probably fiercely loyal to his new "leaders". He's always been more of a follower. So, yeah, if you want to plot with this...I'm definitely willing.

Hisoka's pretty bloodthirsty, so he won't be holding back during the fighting.
