Hello, Campaigners! Be prepared because you now have the chance to take on a magical quest from that holy sword, Excalibur! There is a post where your character will get the chance to decide whether to accept or reject the challenge of Excalibur’s quest. If he or she rejects the offer, nothing will happen to them. However, if they choose to accept it, they will receive a new e-mail that will tell them what their quest will be sometime in the near future.

Each quest will be unique to each individual!

Because of that, you MUST sign up by July 18th, 11:59 CST so that we can write up your specific quest. You can do so by commenting here! In the signups, please leave your character’s name and also your best hours of availability. We will update with another post later that will state which quest you’ll be on.

There will be an event log up at a later date where characters can fulfill their quests. You must log the quest to get the prize at the end (yes, there is a prize!). If the character fails the quest after they have agreed to go on it, they will suffer a consequence! It’s nothing extreme like limbs being cut off or souls being taken away so no worries about that, but it will probably be embarrassing. Very much so.

We will also need volunteers! These quests will often be RETREIVE-THAT-ITEM based and many will involve taking them from someone. For example, your goal might be to pull five hairs off of Spirit’s head. Or maybe you have to get a 50 ft chocolate bunny from the Death by Pastry shopkeeper. Retrieve a ketchup bottle from a guest.

Don’t worry, we won’t put your characters in these situations without your permission so please sign up if you can! Here’s what we are asking for:

Shopkeeper volunteers
You are allowed to create them however you want, but they’ll only be available for this event for now! So if you’re interested in playing a shopkeeper, please sign up here. We’ll have another post later where you can claim which shopkeeper you’d like to be. After the claim, you can fill out a mini-bio and make them however you want (a chance to play an original character, mayhaps?)! We’ll have an npc account available for you to use later.

If we have too many shopkeeper signups, we will use a randomizer to decide who can claim.

We’d like your help too if you don’t mind! You can still play in these quests even if you volunteer your character over so don’t worry about that! Comment here to sign up!

Guests!
Yes, you guys can also be a part of the shenanigans! Even if your character doesn’t sign up to go on a quest, someone can come by and bother you for something if they’d like. BY THE WAY, Excalibur isn't coming up to you and saying, "hey so and so is gonna request something from you". It's just gonna happen so your character can react/refuse accordingly.

Howdy, SCers! Jason here.

As you can no doubt tell from the recent comm posts, Train died during the Arizona Mission, which heralds my finally having dropped him. Despite having had him around for nine months or so, regretfully I haven't done a whole lot with him except in small bursts. He hasn't been the strongest of muses for me (I tend to forget about him most of the time orz) and I decided it's about due time to put him to sleep. My other muses have become increasingly more demanding, and someone had to go.

He might come back someday, I don't know, but I don't have any plans in the near-future to app any muses. In the meantime, I'll finish squaring off his currently running threads and then it's finally sayonara.

In other news, I need to be going on slowatus! I have a bunch of projects I'm sitting on now that are severely dividing/draining my time. I figure if I take a week or two I can finish most of them and get back to having fun (and being more reliable with my tagging). When I get back I should have a couple of fun things lined up for SC (mainly DCFC stuff and certain guides).

Until then! I will prioritize event stuff that I owe and tag in for a couple of logs/threads that I already promised people, but otherwise I will be avoiding picking up new stuff for a while. If you really need any of my guys though, you can let me know and I will IMMEDIATELY BOW TO PEER PRESSURE make an appearance.

Partnership log, the second!

First off: apologies for the delay in getting the partnership matches done when the log's already up at the moment. We're working on it, I promise.

However! There is a good problem that hinders the process of making these matchups, and that is information (or lack thereof). If you've filled out this IC form, great. You're probably good. If not, it is very helpful to fill it out or communicate preferences/needs for matchups--it's really hard to match up meisters with no information about what they want, or weapons who may or may not know their own weapon form ICly.

So after some discussion, the spreadsheet for the partner search list has been updated. If you're interested in being in the partnership log or if you were it in last time, please look at this! If there is a red cell in your character's row on the appropriate page, we need you to provide more information ICly; otherwise you may not be paired up for lack of information. (This applies to more or less everyone who signed up for the log without filling out the form last time, and/or to weapons who didn't indicate their weapon form even if they filled out the IC form. If you were in the log last time and don't intend to do it this time, please mention that too.) The sooner this is done, the sooner everything should be completed!

Also, please provide notification if you have a character on this list and one of the following happens:
• The character is dropped.
• The character finds a partner.
• The character will not be in the training/partnership logs (or just the partnership log) for any IC or OOC reason.
• The character changes preferences for any reason (change from meister to weapon or vice versa, IC developments, and so on).
• Meisters discover their meister abilities, and weapon forms who didn't know their weapon form figure it out.

This makes things a lot easier, and it helps ensure nobody gets matched up with an unavailable or incompatible character. Thank you very much!

Edit: If you'd rather not fill out the form for IC or OOC reasons, feel free to get in the partnership log anyway! You won't be matched up, but nobody's stopping you from dropping in and tagging around.

It's time for me to face the music. I've been derping around with Dave here for nearly two months and I've done almost no rping in that time. It's not right and not fair to you guys. Not only that, I don't think it's going to improve. I'm working full time now. And yeah. I'm really, really sorry everyone, but this isn't going to change any time soon. I feel like I should just... let Dave go here. And so that's what I'm doing. I'll miss everyone terribly. But this is what's best for everyone, I think, and this way, you guys can get a new Dave during the next app cycle. Good luck, guys, and I'll catch you on the flip side.

Hhhhello, SC. Long time no see.

But ahh, yes, this would be Pelt, finally back from pond-hopping and happy to be here although whoa man I missed a lot. And a lot of new people! jksnagk hello new people. Along with me is Altair, Suzaku and China (who, since it was just a day-change, should also be returning), and I hope to be leaping back in soon as possible.

Hiatus

It's been 'official' (as in on the hiatus post) for a while now, but I'm now 'hiatused' for the rest of July. I've got company coming over and have to get my house (and cosplay) ready for SDCC. <3 So I'll be away from the computer from the 18th to the 26th and won't be tagging much even before then. I'll hopefully get caught up soon after the 26th and be in a better position to tag around and keep up with the friends list.

De-hiatus!

Hey guys! This is Yuki and I'm finally back from my hiatus that extended a little further than I intended it to due to getting the con plague of sorts lD;;; But I'm feeling better now and ready to play with everyone!

hiatus/slowatus thing

Should have prolly done this earlier, but I thought things would be better so...

Anyway, a hiatus/slowatus thing for me. Been stressed out easily these days, what with school restarting and needing to (re)fix up my sleep schedule. My grandmother is also in a constant state of critical condition these days with hospital stays every week and a high probability of her dying with a heart attack any time now. Shitty relatives also not helping as always, but I'll stop rambling on about my stupid RL shit here before I go on.

So yeah, going to need a break and all that for maybe about a week or two. I'll still be tagging around and be available when I can, but don't expect much else otherwise. Sorry about this, guys.
