Earthquake Event

We have a small event for this day change to kickstart the new communities. At around mid-morning, when most of Death City is active, the city will be rocked by an earthquake. It's not a particularly strong one, but it's definitely strong enough to do some damage to the sort of layered hill that Death City is on. Throughout the day, the city will also suffer some minor aftershocks.

Some buildings (not a lot, and these would be the abandoned or very old ones) can go topple on your characters if you like, or some wide ditches may suddenly appear on the roads at their feet! The commercial district will be flooded for a better part of the day from the waterways. The city will of course need its brave agents (that means you!) to rescue civilians, help clean up the streets, and other things.

Not at all! About ankle to knee deep depending on where you are. The higher up the hill, the less it is!

Since I'm not sure about the setup of the waterways... Would it be feasible for someone to fall into them? It might be a way to do something with Lily's super buoyancy.

Indeed it is possible! If you look at the location map, it is the blue ring around the inner quarters. It's a high, open canal and people usually walk around it and on its 'banks' like some sort of weird river on top of nowhere. XD

Shin is a smoker with lots of alcohol. A lit cig falling into a fine coating of vodka can't bode well.

That's perfectly fine! If you think the fire will be damaging enough so as to make the unit unlivable, please comment on the residency page so we can put it in there.
