Morning Training Coordination Post

Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. Once a month a log goes up to play out interactions and teaching. It happens from 6 am to 9 am, and I'll be putting it up sometime on January 3rd or 4th, whichever is the daychange, real time.

If you want your character to work on something, drop them in! If you want them to teach, please, please let me know. Training could use more teachers and you never know what CR you'll end up with out of this!

The current lineup is under the cut, let me know if I messed up anywhere, please.



Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron, Steve Rogers.

Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai, Tifa Lockhart.

Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji and Ling Yao. Please see list of random sparrers.

Batch 4: Experienced fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Selendis. Please see list of random sparrers.

Weapon transformation: How to Change into Your Weapon Form. Yuuri, Ishida Mitsunari, Spirit.

Soul Perception: If you still don’t know by now-- Any of the Soul Perception people. Azusa.

Partner training: How to Work Together as Partners. Tassadar and Nataku. Maka and Soul.

Weapons handling training: Genesis, Tenten, Yuu Kanda.

Shooting range: How to shoot things 101. Jade Harley, Grit, Germany.

Meister Ability helpers: Edgeworth, Kid, Ryuuji.

Medics: All the medical people.

Audience: Because some people just want to watch.

Watch: An area closed off to the Watch members who need any sort of special training.

Feel free to throw up new threads for characters, especially those who want to try their partnership. Breakfast is served as usual, by Germany with help from Souji Seta and Cinderella!

Gai will be showing up at 5:30 to set up and meet with any new teachers who want to meet with him, and teaches and wanders around the whole time. Afterward he cleans up, leaving around ten p.m. He's available to teach, spar, converse, answer questions, etc.

Would love to have Yachiru here work on weapon transformation and partner training. She won't have a permanent partner until a Kenpachi gets here but she can work with temporary ones. :D

Ling will be helping Neji to teach the intermediate section, with his Xingese kung fu skills most likely on display. He will also be hanging around trying to consume massive amounts of breakfast, with poor table manners. Seriously, you wouldn't guess he's a prince.

HEY GUYS okay, December was a fail month for me, so let's start out the new year AWESOMELY.

Souji is a Meister, and he needs a partner. Also, he's in the mood for a good spar, so anyone in group 3 would be awesome! Seriously, anyone. He will adapt to whatever weapon you need to use. Oh, and he's bringing food. So. That will be good.

I also have Barbara Gordon! She's new, she's a Weapon, and she's in a wheelchair. Even so, she needs to spar something bad. She fights using sticks. She'll be in group 4.

Lastly, S.E.E.S will have a thread up for anyone who wants to work within the group!

Yosuke will probably be training up for his mission -- which I believe we're scheduling for after this date, it's still tbd -- but beyond that, he'll mostly be lazy and watching the others! Perhaps yelling rude/and or OH MAN AWESOME things at them.

But I'm also up for anything?? He's a weapon, but he's got proficiency in Fighting Like A Doofus To Music With Knives and doing all sorts of weird flippy things.

His dog will also be running around the training pitch, so watch out for overactive pomeranians.

I'm new, Kanji's new, he's a Meister and he's ready to rumble!

I'd like him to figure out his Meister Ability, and have something spectacularly terrible (read: hilarious) to happen involving that. He has Soul Descent, or as I like to call it: FUS RO DAH, so there's some potential of people flying left and right from that.

OTHER THAN THAT, since Naoto filled him in some, he's going to want to wield as many Weapons as possible and see what sticks. Just noting that he is going to have an absolute horrible time resonating, though.

Naomi's going to be leading first aid lessons, as mentioned, and anybody interested can get a basic supply kit as well. The focus here is on treating wounds, sprains/broken bones, and anything else that are expected to come up in the context of battle. Both supplies and lessons are pretty much going to be based on the Watch session from a while ago (information here (http://deadshallspeak.livejournal.com/4738.html)); there won't be quite as many supplies given out because of the generality/audience and the lessons will be more spread out to give them a slower pace, but a lot of it is still similar.

I think what I want to do for the format is basically handwave the actual information and then have people ask specific questions and interact with the helpers/each other! Bring life to the medic thread, guys, it's usually empty and that's sad.

That said: If you're helping out with first aid lessons, please comment here! It's not strictly necessary and if you decide to help last-minute that's totally okay, but it is nice to get a headcount for a general idea of what's going on.

Fabiola will be doing the standard hand-to-hand training with the intermediate/advanced groups, and she's pretty open for sparring unless she's practicing resonance with Bee. Also if anyone wants to get used as an obstacle by accident on her early-morning free-run, there's that too.

Envy will be practicing resonating with Kenshin, but she's also good for a spar with swords of just hand-to-hand too.


And of course, Handmaid's going to be fighting Leo, and then once she recovers from that, she's going to go find more people whose fighting spirit to arbitrarily challenge if anyone wants a tiny alien girl with no sense of the word 'enough' beating up on their character some. Warning though- she's not as liable to go easy as her descendant is.

Chrono's probably going to be focusing on weapons training and partner stuff this time around! He's promised to try resonating with Takuto but I'm sure he'd like to try out other people, too. Keeping his options open, you know. And avoiding Aion.

He hasn't figured out how to transform yet, but when he does he's a gunblade with the ability to speed up his Meister considerably--buuut he can really injure his Meister if his ability is used for too long. ...Which reminds me I never edited his application post for the tweaked weapon section. I should...probably do that.

Rukia is quite handy with a katana, she's been using one for ages. She could instruct others in using that type of weapon (physically) if necessary. In terms of attending sessions, she might sit a few out and try and gauge how they work before joining in, unless pressed to do otherwise.
