I don't have everyone on plurk (and I know not everyone has plurk) so I thought it'd be best safe to let everyone know.

There is a bug that is going around that is causing livejournal accounts to be set to automatic payments despite not being on them before. I would check your journals just in case. since I found at least two of mine set to autopayments I found the problems were actually my own I think so disregard mine lol or maybe not idek anymore (ugh trying to find old emails from a year ago sob), but several others have found the same happening to them. It wouldn't hurt to check.

Thanks for signal-boosting. I caught this on Plurk earlier and yep, one of my accounts had gotten switched over.

Yeah, mine was set to auto too, and I never make automatic payments.

From what I've seen on plurk it seems to apply mostly to people who bought their own paid time with a card. Paypal users seem to be safe, as well as gifted accounts.

Expired accounts weren't renewed, at least not as far as I've seen. I had two formerly paid accounts that used the same card I used for this account, and they're still unpaid.

I guess with everyone getting an edit button and a lot of people defecting to DW, LJ wanted some revenue coming in? :V

Your list of criteria (paid with a card, non-expired) applied to me as well. My expired personal account was not affected, but my two RP accounts were. :|a
