Morning Training Coordination Post

Morning Training happens every day in the city, and most days get handwaved. Once a month a log goes up to play out interactions and teaching. It happens from 6 am to 9 am, and I'll be putting it up sometime on December 31st, in-game.

If you want your character to work on something, drop them in! If you want them to teach, please, please let me know. Training could use more teachers and you never know what CR you'll end up with out of this!

The current lineup is under the cut, let me know if I messed up anywhere, please.



Batch 1: Beginners under the age of fifteen. Taught by Prussia, Fakir, Auron.

Batch 2: Adult beginners. Under Tommy Oliver, Saber, Kaoru Kamiya, Lightning Farron, Maito Gai.

Batch 3: Intermediate fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Hyuuga Neji. Please see list of random sparrers.

Batch 4: Experienced fighters, for sparring with each other. Overseen by Selendis. Please see list of random sparrers.

Weapon transformation: How to Change into Your Weapon Form. Kasuga, Yuuri, Ishida Mitsunari, Spirit.

Soul Perception: If you still don’t know by now-- Any of the Soul Perception people. Azusa.

Partner training: How to Work Together as Partners. Tassadar and Nataku. Maka and Soul.

Weapons handling training: Genesis, Tenten, Yuu Kanda.

Shooting range: How to shoot things 101. Jade Harley, Grit, Germany.

Meister Ability helpers: Stein, Edgeworth

Medics: All the medical people.

Audience: Because some people just want to watch.

Watch: An area closed off to the Watch members who need any sort of special training.

Feel free to throw up new threads for characters, especially those who want to try their partnership. Breakfast is served as usual!

Gai will be training people in Batch 2 as usual, but if there's anything you'd like to play out with him he'll be all over the place. He gets there at 5:30 to set up and leaves at 10 after clean-up and prep for the next day.

Lloyd is going to be looking more into how being a Meister works and figuring out his ability/how to resonate. I'm actually not sure what to do exactly for that, but yes, he's open too.

Hades will just be a nuisance by watching and lurking around though he might get interested in learning how to handle some kind of weapon himself if anybody would like to deal with an exceptionally infuriating student. :3

Leo will be available for sparring if anybody’s interested. The outcome is completely optional, I'm open for all!

Aion will be at the shooting range once more where he will have trouble hitting targets and will also be looking for somebody to train sword fighting with.

Ryuuji will continue working on mastering his Meister ability and is also open for sparring or being taught how to fight since his knowledge/experience about it is mostly for self-defence only.

Edgeworth will once again be available for Meister ability help. And again, he can't lug a book over to training and just flip through pages and tell you OH HEY THIS RIGHT HERE IS YOUR ABILITY. I know he's a genius and his idea of "training" before this was GOING THROUGH LAW BOOKS FROM START TO FINISH, but really. He's here to get his butt kicked while learning how to kick butt. And for the Meister ability stuff. Yup. However, he can direct people to look up the stuff they notice that maaaaaay be from their ability at Shibusen's library if they've got a more definite grip on it.

Basically, prod him for clues on how to figure out your Meister ability. Expect tons of conversation because there will be PRESSING FOR DEETS. The things Edgeworth would like to know are a character's strengths, weaknesses, profession/career/job, fighting style, attitude toward fighting and defense, and depending on where the discussion goes, certain other details about that character's life back home. And expect him to take notes as you go, because besides the legal hoo-haa and stuff about DC and Shibusen, he is currently also looking into the nature of Meister abilities in general.

Another thing. If your character is persistent enough to figure out his or her Meister ability RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW, doesn't want any more discussion and will give full permission, Edgeworth may attempt to induce a state of danger or fear using his Soul Talk. What will happen is that he will try to persuade your character that he or she is in danger, has to fight to survive, that sort of thing by speaking.

Take note that Edgeworth will be very, very, VERY hesitant to do this. It will take only the best arguments to convince him.

Hey there. During the morning training, do you want to have Chika and Yukari try resonating? I'm trying to get her to resonate with lots of different people so she can finally figure out that she has Soul BFF as her meister ability, though if they end up getting along well enough after knowing each other for a bit I wouldn't mind them becoming partners either.

Bakura will be seeing what he can get away with in terms of training with his arm still healing. He really wants to get better at things and figure out how to use his weapon powers better than the on the fly in the middle of a fight attempts he's made so far.

Really, he should be sitting it out because of his arm, but he's stubborn and won't.
