Dehiatus
Hi, this is Yukeh, surprisingly not doing an OOC post to announce a slowatus/hiatus. Putting in a note that I am back from that short but extremely satisfying vacation over the weekend with Lyn (scuba diving, how fun!). I got back last night, as some of you might have noticed from the constant complaints in plurk about my sadly aching and protesting body (apparently, office girl + physical exertion = the usual post-vacation sickness).
I'll try to get back to the flist tomorrow to catch up (after I figure out why LJ Login won't work, and what is it with this new font in the LJ html update box?), but expect replies from my (even more sadly) late tags within the next day. October isn't my month for activity OTL. I hope you guys don't mind late replies to your entries. ;;;
If you uuuh want to plot... something...? And here, Christmas presents because I totally... didn't do that meme when it was up due to another hiatus.
Kuroro
Will not be getting people things yet, will give them on New Year, because he was lazy and only now have raised his interest in this whole presents thing.
Cat ribbon for Rhode along with this pair of cute things, liquor and hairgel for Mukuro (and this), apron for China (one of those emblazoned things -- and this, except Kuroro will write his own section for the Chinese measurement system with all the 600grams thing they do), something for Kurapika that I am still thinking about (but defs this, god stop shivering, partner), megaphone for Squalo that looks like the phone part is a SHAAARK, ACTUAL SHIRTS for Seph (knitted if he can buy them; otherwise, something just... not baring out his chest, you know? and this), this for Prussia, this for Cloud, and this for Nataku.
The Ryodan get -- dun dun dun -- books each. They are informative books on this world. Read them, fellows. : | And Shal's can have money in it. One dollah.
I am pretty sure I am forgetting someone... If I am, just hit me up here and I will tell you what you get!
Germany
Is simple enough. Everyone gets homemade kuchen, although his citizens (even the halfs, Monk) get particularly symmetrical ones.
Watson
Is old fashioned and will give people things that old men like him give. So they are useful things like socks and socks. Wait.
Holmes gets a new pipe set because god, Holmes, stop chewing on that one. With the snuff, don't ask how he got it. Mary Weather gets a fleece hat for the weather. Squalo gets a coat, which is probably one of Watson's more expensive gifts. It's wool, and black, and Squalo, my dear, you need to fatten up. Kurapika gets a pair of gloves because he is also always cold. Nataku will get a cookbook, one of those instructional types with pictures, so Nataku will stop going to that ruffian partner of Kurapika's for cooking lessons. Naomi gets a plain but servicable set of instruments -- scalpels, blades, those things. Brock gets a cookbook, this is also a random hint to cook more for the clinic. Gai and Katsura will receive scarves each, but they are suspiciously matching. Choushirou can have a detective book, yes, and not Holmes either. Haibara can get a diary. You look like you can use it. All the HEXED will get scarves. They are discreet presents for their strange camaraderie. Like with Kuroro, I may be forgetting someone, so please just say! I am sick, the excuse works. ;;
Spirit
Oh, god, Spirit. LOVE AND AFFECTION? He's generally lavish with what he gets and everyone he's moderately friends with will get something, so this list is pretty... hard... How about you pick what he gives you, as long as it's a) useful enough, b) moderately pretty and of high quality (re: expensive), and c) may be completely unnecessary.
I did have some ideas before. Maka gets a few books, signed by her favorite authors (as long as they're still alive). He swallowed his pride to ask Soul about it and then hunted them down himself -- who can say no to a Deathscythe, anyway?
Katsura gets a kotatsu, imported from Japan (he asked Azusa), Clovis gets a coat with all the frills he'll ever need in his life (since Spirit noticed Clovis likes that sort of thing), and Seimei can get a nice basket of organic fruits and that stuff (since Spirit noticed he likes clean things). Haru -- geeze, stop trying to suck my face off!! -- can get clothes because he wears too little of it, and because Spirit is generally a supportive dad, he can have weird underwear to go with it, to boot. IT'S NOT WRONG. Luke also gets a diary, of the nice kind, because Spirit thinks that Luke might benefit from that sort of thing -- Spirit cares! Stein gets his trust?? Stein can have some nice cigarettes, and also a new chair. Jesus, stop mauling it. Phoenix will get a new beanie -- seven of them, in rainbow colors. Edgeworth will get cravats -- seven of them, in rainbow colors. These two also get prime coffee and tea each, outside of the gag gifts.
Soul grudgingly gets a bandana and some fingerless gloves, and Death the Kid can have a bump on the head--- wait, no. A perfectly symmetrical paperweight. It has no purpose apart from pleasing DtK's sense of aesthetics.
He can also give anyone gift checks to Dorsia or other establishments within Death City, so you're free to assume he gave you one, esp if you are a Shibusen student. It's not much, but he likes to show appreciate where it can be shown.
Itou
Is a curmudgeon and will not give anyone anything yet.
ACTUALLY since I missed the entire meme, would it be possible to know what your characters gave to mine in this post? /twiddles thumb.
