AKA hi, this is the player of

pastrykind bringing in a fourth and final character! Meet Emil Castagnier of Tales of Symphonia, who is COMPLICATED but basically a bullied kid pulled into being an RPG hero with a dash of split personality and various issues. Emil's actually an old character of mine whom a few people may actually recognize from other games ~~HI RAILE~~, and apparently I can't get rid of him so here he is as a Meister with the ability Soul Summon!

An important note: Emil's two personalities are represented visually by green eyes and red eyes and it's a little fuzzy on whether this is the actual case, but since the color is never commented on in-game even from complete strangers going I am playing Emil as if he has green eyes all the time. I'll make a note of this whenever it comes up, but thought I should put that out there! There are plenty of other cues to take from, just not his eye color.

His second personality isn't actually going to come out as much in his present situation, but it will be...interesting, when he does!

Yayyy Emil! Karkat will be confused as fuck if he sees the eyes though, he'll probably think the poor kid's related to Kurapika.

His eyes? Oh, no, they're supposed to be green! I think. THE GAME ISN'T VERY CLEAR about what distinctions are IC or not beyond personality, which kind of helps screw with characters/readers at appropriate moments.

He sounds quite interesting •3•

Emil is a fascinating character, and by that I mean I have way too much fun analyzing him from various perspectives that are mostly valid except for maybe the one where I imagine his love life is half fairy tale material.
