Day change will be postponed a day (24 hours) in lieu of the Russian attacks on LJ's servers that have been disrupting its service for a few days now. So day change will be on Friday night instead of tonight. Some players have suggested a short delay in day change to allow the playerbase to catch up to threads and other events and we agree with this suggestion. The next day change will be delayed 12 hours to balance the shortened day.
