Vriska catchers! The date for her arrest is set for OCTOBER 29TH.

Right now the list of volunteer participants reads as follows:

Selendis
Jade Harley
Train Heartnet
Katsura
Rise
Naomi

This means... that everyone who volunteered is free to join!

Some notes: Vriska has Cheshire (her Weapon) with her, and while the only thing she can do with him besides stab/cut is... open portals and hop around, this is going to be incredibly obnoxious. Thus the decision to allow so many people in this.

Rise and Naomi: it sounds like you two are less into the fighting aspect? Would you prefer to be the trackers/help handle things before and after the actual arrest?

Jade and Train: you two are the only full Meister/Weapon team (as I understand it) so be prepared for that.

Kae has volunteered Roy to step in if things get out of hand and/or the plot stalls.

Additional: IS ANYONE OKAY WITH POSSIBLY GETTING INJURED? Please let me know who is/is not okay with that because Vriska doesn't pull punches.

EDIT: I've gotten in touch with Cheshire-mun (Vriska's Weapon). Players engaging them should be aware that the length of Cheshire's blade varies: if he's having a good time, his smile gets bigger, and he becomes less of a knife and more of a long, curved sword, increasing her reach and effectiveness greatly.

I'll put Tarrasar on reserve if you need him. As for injuries, you can try, but Tassy's pretty hardcore when it comes to attacks against him, so it's doubtful she'll get out unharmed if she attacks him.

OKAY SO THIS IS THE TENTATIVE IDEA.

The volunteers are all from different sections of the city. As Raile mentioned, Vriska has Chesire, who will allow her to teleport and generally be incredibly hard to catch. She can also see through things because of her Meister ability.

What I'm proposing is that we have an order to who spots Vriska and attempts to chase her down. Basically, who sees her first, tries to catch her, fails, then who sees her next, tries to catch her, fails, and so on until we get to the pair who will ACTUALLY catch her.

...That made sense in my head IT MAKES SENSE, RIGHT?

Anyway, guys. Hit this thread, and we'll coordinate. Let me know if you want to be the one to catch Vriska, or if you're okay with me fixing Please track it too. Kartkat, Dave: I have you guys on standby to join in on the fun. Jade, I heard about your ability. We might be able to find a way for her to use it.

IT MAKES SENSE. And I'm not too fussed what order Selendis winds up in. The teleporting thing is going drive her up the wall, so she's probably not going to quit until she's caught Vriska herself, or she's around when it happens/after it happens.

I am totally flexible, so you can put Selendis wherever you need her! :D

Yeaaaaaah, ability-using! She can currently use two strings (not concurrently, but one after the other) to keep track of two different people. With mun permission, of course. She can also keep track of immediate danger to the person she's watching. Jade can't resonate while she's using her ability, though.

Just for clarification.

OBVIOUSLY KURT AND DAVE SHOULD SHOW UP OUT OF NOWHERE AND CATCH VRISKA.

ORDER SO FAR:

+ Jade has the ability to track two people. Mun permission required; resonation not possible while this is happening.
+ Currently biased towards letting Dave catch Vriska in the end. He will likely need back-up.
+ Selendis is flexible, but not the type to give up.

FLOW OF THE CHASE take two XD

ORDER SO FAR:
1.) Katsura spots Vriska first in his district, during his shift. He'll give chase. Vriska ports off. HE'S GOING TO KEEP TRYING TO BRING HER DOWN, THOUGH.
2.) Rise spots Vriska on the run with Katsura going after her. She'll be throwing up the post that'll alert the rest of the Watch.
3.) Selendis and Kartkat? spot Vriska next in their district. They engage. Vriska breaks away again. At around this time, Jade should probably start tracking Vriska for the group with her ability. Train stays with her to watch over her, yes? ALSO I think it is safe to assume that Selendis will also try and run after Vriska until the end. By now, we've got three people in hot pursuit.
4.) Roy orders everyone else to guard the borders of their area to try and isolate Vriska. Reserves, this is where you can step in ICly, in the sense that Vriska will run into you guys, but poof before you can engage. By this time, Vriska may have figured out that the Watch has tailed her with Jade, which would give her a reason to go to the Inner City Residential District. Also: Katsura, Selendis and Karkat, I assume, are still hounding her.
5.) Roy (wielding Riza) engages Vriska while she's making her way towards Jade. She manages to escape from this one.
6.) Vriska tries to attack Jade and nearly succeeds in injuring her. She is then forced to engage Jade (wielding Train) AND Dave, who has hit the scene by then. They're the ones who manage to take her down in the end.
7.) Chesire shifts out and tries to escape. Roy grabs his tail catches him while the others are occupied. XD

...I started a reply and then got distracted by ten billion things. Okay.

Naomi's combat capabilities are limited to basic gun use and improvised weapons, so involving her in the actual fighting is not a great idea in this context. She's best with tracking and stuff, and maybe figuring out any patterns that may exist.

Injury is okay, although she's lined up for something on the 30th so she'd have to be able to go to work the next day!

Anyway, I'm fine with Katsura getting injured because he has no expertise in fighting teleporting aliens trolls (Outside of video games at any rate). He does have epic dodging skills though so he'll wisen up after a while!

Rise wouldn't be fit to do any fighting but if there is any way for her to distribute info or help set up traps? IDK. I'm okay slotting her in anywhere she is needed.

Cheshire is more than likely to transform and split as soon as Vriska is caught, unless someone can stop him, and he'll end up zipping through the city as well. Of course, with the number of people I'm guessing someone should be able to grab his tail (even if his getting used to dodging Vriska as he trolls her has gotten up his dodge a bit).

The other matter is containing Cheshire. Are the jails built in such a manner that they can hold in a cat whose body structure is questionable? I heard that an alternate idea was shaving him. I really can't stop laughing at the thought.

Yes, they're very welcome to join in! Roy's calling for volunteers to set up the trap - maybe Gai can poke that? It would put him (and Kakashi, if Kakashi is joining) in the ideal position to monitor what's happening in their area too, I believe.
