They sent me another email requesting more information about his orientation...but to be honest, I'm stumped. It said:

"The application team would like to see the orientation addressed in a strictly canonical manner using evidence from the game as support. If you find that you cannot adequately support your initial claim, you may change it to whatever canon supports best. Additionally, we would like to see mention of his relationship with Rachel."

I don't know what to do, because I already put in a huge section for just Jake and Rachel in his personality section, but does this mean I have to re-write it again for the orientation section?

Here's what I wrote so far: "Heterosexual, though it's not mentioned in the game as to whether or not he prefers only women, it's safe to assume that he has a lot more interest in women than men. His interactions with Jess, Sasha and Rachel are on a deeper level than with any of the men (aside from Hawke), as shown in their conversations with each other."

Jake is unknown. Pretty much only Eagle, Sami, and Kanbei have set orientations. Everyone else is unknown. Jake shows no interest in females or males. It doesn't matter the level of conversation.

Now with Rachel, she's a superior and a close friend. But he also doesn't show a romantic interest in her, so while he's close, he's not attracted.

See, I couldn't even go with heterosexual in my Grit app, because it's not outright shown. What they want is exactly what the game shows you. So because Jake is not shown to be heterosexual, he is not, at least for the app.

that's probably really confusing, I know, so if you want me to explain it again, I'd be happy to.
