SO IT HAPPENED, GUYS. :D I'm Sarahkat, Karkat's mun (dungenessmaster), and this app cycle the mods apparently all had judgment lapses at the same time and let me inflict another terrible character on the fair city. This is Dug the dog, from Pixar's Up.

Naw, I kid, our mods are wonderful and sexy and I'm still incoherent with happy right now at this opportunity. <3 Guys, seriously, thank you!

So! Dug! If you haven't seen Up, he's just a derpy, happy dog who likes everyone. He can communicate with a device on his collar that turns his thoughts into speech. He is a weapon, a World War-era machine gun to be exact, and he'll be completely thrilled about it once he figures out what's going on! The challenge will be to form a special sort of bond with him since he likes everyone and can resonate with practically anybody who cares to try. Initially his gunfire will be pretty weak.

A couple of notes. First off, Dug isn't a superintelligent animal, just a dog wearing a collar with some technology on it. Mostly I'm pointing this out because he won't be able to read your text posts.

Second... are any Death City residents in the market for a dog? Obviously he can't live alone, and I sort of thought of having him assist Tavros if Aiko's interested, but I haven't made any solid plans. Come on, he's housetrained!
