Late on the introduction bandwagon!

Um, I'm new here! My name is Jelle (also known as

nagareboshihe here on livejournal) and I will be bringing in Maria from Umineko no Naku Koro ni. For those of you who don't know the series, lots of people are killed over and over again and there are logic battles using colored text with witches. Fun times to be had by all, clearly. Maria is practically the resident loli in that series who is actually the resident witch's biggest fan and is completely unfazed by people dying everywhere. (Instead she just sits there and laughs creepily. Her creepiness is toned down more and more as the series progresses, though.) Her mother is also the BEST MOM EVER and loves killing Maria's (imaginary) friends and beating her for using her 'uu' verbal tic. She's coming from the end of the second arc (Turn of the Golden Witch).

She's a weapon and the form is the one-winged eagle staff she (and some other witches) uses in her witch form in-series.

I'm looking forward to playing with everyone!

It's nice to meet you~! I've seen Higurashi too and I have to say I like Umineko just a little bit better, but Higurashi is amazing too. I'm just biased since Umineko is probably my favourite series ever, ahaha.

I enjoyed Higurashi (even if I got freaked out at parts), and I think I'll like Umineko too. /should start like RIGHT NOW.

Oh cool a Maria * 3* I've only seen the anime and a walkthrough of the first game, but still. Yay!

Everyone complains about how the anime is really bad but I don't mind it all that much, actually. Lmao. I just prefer the vns. BUT MARIA IS ALWAYS FUN, UUUU.

From what I saw of the games they do have the better story BUT REALLY YOU CAN ONLY FIT SO MUCH INFO INTO AN ANIME anyways XD But yes, both were worthwhile.

Yeah, that's pretty much why I don't mind the anime-- they had to cut those four long games into 26 episodes and did a pretty good job IMHO.
