The best (and easiest) way to get any sort of positive CR going for Machi from Kurapika would be to do him some kind of favor that he'd be forced to repay. :'D He doesn't like owing people, and would hate being indebted to Geneiryodan people even more, so he'll do his utter best to make it up to them.
