Belated Fresh Meat

Hallo, uh. I'm Raile, and I'm kind of belatedly bringing you Machi Tobaye from Ace Attorney.

There were a few delays in me getting (and then in me posting), so uhh... I apologise for that, I guess. (Although I guess maybe I shouldn't apologise for emergency dental surgery and a sprained ankle?)

Anyway, hi, I look forward to playing here--it's been a long time since I've had a chance to start Machi somewhere fresh; he's kind of shy and a little antisocial, but he's not that bad a kid, most of the time.

I know Near much better than Cain, but I am genuinely looking forward to playing with both of them!

And... ah. I had a temporary bridge in (because I'd had a baby tooth with no adult tooth behind it, and it finally kicked it after 20 years) and the temporary bridge broke, embedding pieces of broken bridge in my gum and necessitating some uh. Fast extraction of said pieces out of the nerve/root and surrounding gum area. I got that done (after a lot of anesthetic), but then, the next morning, when I was out walking the dog, I slipped off a slimy railroad tie and sprained my ankle so badly that we thought it might be broken at first.

Obviously the lesson here is that I really need to be careful about that existing thing. XD

Oh ffff Machi and his ridiculous blender English. Yeah, I'm keeping it here--there'll be an explanation for it (as you will see, I s'pose), but he's gonna be stubborn about some things. Like speaking properly. He's also refusing to act sighted, even though he's also not expressly denying that he can see? I think he's just being cautious though.

Aaaand oh gods Monk. I have to ask--is he a Weapon or Meister? xD

... ach, yeah. Monk is always a weird character for me to watch because I actually have OCD myself (my symptoms aren't the same as his, but there is a fair bit of overlap), so there's this weird surrealism involved for me. Like "...ooh. Hmmm. Hmm." I like watching him, but I feel for him, truly. xD
