First off, Angelica's sign-up thing is here (http://community.livejournal.com/soul_ooc/334575.html?thread=7686895#t7686895), and it details what she's been up to and why she doesn't seem to have aged, as most people can see.

Depending on which tier you are amongst the witches, you may see different sides to her. It changes depending on who you are in their reckoning and what you do. Those closest in her 'regard', if not her counsel, will likely be treated like her children, no matter what their ages are. Most will be treated with either professional distance or a sweet sort of demeanour - or any cocktail of the two. :'

It's highly unlikely that, unless there has been an attack or reconaissance into the witchy areas that delved pretty far, members of Shibusen, CWC, and the like will not have seen her. They may not even be aware of her presence - although it's possible that the likes of Heine would have been able to recognise her handiwork. I am up for plotting against this, however!

Okay, so I actually had this up as a placeholder for the real thing. Dawn was a three-star meister at Shibusen with her partner being Ash Ketchum for five years. During a mission five years later, she screwed up and Ash got hurt, losing his voice. But Dawn didn't know that, and like the witches, mistook him for dead, haha.

She then surrendered to the witches and became a modified witch herself, having a little penguin much like Piplup by her side. She will basically look the same as her game-counterpart, albeit a bit more serious and angst, and such but she really cares about people a lot.

Also, if characters pay attention to her on a certain day, she celebrates Ash's birthday. Dawn has never confessed to him, and she still thinks he's dead-- though she's probably been sent on missions before when she was younger, since Dawn is a pretty innocent girl.

And because I'm a dick: she's attempting to erase memories of her past because aaaaah i'm a horrible mun

+ He hasn't aged at all in those ten years -- hooray for being a clone.

+ He killed and ate John Watson's soul along with crippling Sherlock Holmes. Decided not to kill Holmes because a crippled meister with no weapon is not a threat to him.

+ Nataku is very logic-driven at this point. If something is not a threat, he no longer has any desire to kill it. If something has a soul of interest, it should be eaten to gain more power (no longer remembering the reason save that he would like more power). He is fairly cold and as unhinged as he would ever really be as a clone. Unhinged being somewhat of a toss-up word in that his thinking is even more distorted than what it normally is, but he can carry on a conversation with people just that it is fairly deadpan now. Bit more snippy and intrusive in his line of talk.

+ Of course, he is still loyal to Fuumui and Altair (can't be bred out of him) -- since they did seemingly see that he did was doing his best for their sake in eating all those human souls and turning into a Kishin.

Izaya defected to the Witches' side some five years prior to the event. He's not very loosely associated as he pretty much keeps to himself, gathers information and reports back. He's a master of his clairvoyance, and a competent meister, though he's currently unpartnered.

⊕ Enma left Shibusen of his own accord when things started going bad for the Good Guys. He didn't prove himself terribly useful, and before long he found himself booted into the modification programs.

⊕ Amongst the other witches, TYL!Enma isn't much different from his current self -- quiet, nervous, clumsy, though his temper has become notably shorter.

⊕ Around anyone else? He doesn't like you. At all. Much like his behavior in recent cannon, to outsiders he's cold, cocky, and he has no problems (and maybe even enjoys) harming others if he's instructed to do so.

One-Star Weapon at the time he defected from Shibusen, which was about nine years ago. Reclaimed his role as the pitiable Underdog like it was all he knew, because it was and he sucks at everything else. Now in his early thirties and biologically kerfuckered from experimentation, so most of the growth he's been doing has been in his, uh, growths, because he's grody like that. Total Kerberos mode, prone to violent impulses and rambling internal monologues and knowing me I'll be abusing brackets like they're going out of fashion. Obsessed with Einstürzen in a way that'd make Freud blush, these days. Still the same troubled guy he always was way down under all that keratin and Kerberos. Listens to a lot of Enya.

Despite craaaazy, he is definitely lucid enough to have CR! I'd really really love stuff with the current Witch allies, since they're all family in his doop-dee-doo mind. And it'd be great to establish his CR with Shibusen peeps from his defection way way back, if there's anyone likely to remember him!

Huh. Kind of in the wrong camp to be making pals.

But uh! Altaïr ibn La-Ahad. He's learned to control his temper much better, along with... everything else, since he'll lineface at almost everything. Very silent and stalkerly-looking, but he's also a normal guest of the witches, so no modifications or real loyalty toward them. Good if you need a big broody assassin to either watch over you or watch you do things you aren't supposed to. So he's a real life lurker, essentially. And I'd really like him to have some CR in this timeline, since I've failed so bad in present-day.

Not prone to random acts of kindness, but will stick by your side if you get far enough past his shell. Don't mess with Kamui or Nataku or he'll shank your kidneys. 8| Especially Nataku.

Acts as Kamui's Meister, but open for chilling with other Weapons. Thaaat's about it, yep.

little bit of history here: so a while ago nataku (http://community.livejournal.com/soul_ooc/335926.html?thread=7786806#t7786806) turns into a kishin, which forces kamui to do two things: a) consider fighting and b) become stronger in order to take down nataku, who became an incredible inconvenience on his side, despite good intentions. he never got to that part, obviously, but with enough prodding from his grudgingly accepted meister, altair (http://community.livejournal.com/soul_ooc/335926.html?thread=7812150#t7812150), kamui eventually becomes stronger by the time the tyl!event rolls in. awesome, right?

... not exactly. back up a little bit: while kamui was training and all that, he had a friend. kamui likes making friends on the darker shade on the scale of morality, so he made friends with chase young (http://community.livejournal.com/soul_ooc/334575.html?thread=7737327#t7737327). and while chase is an awesome bro, he was also a Bad Guy. kamui's always been pretty good at gauging folks' intentions, but staying in shibusen had made him question a lot of things, such as his general purpose in life and identity, to name a few. THINGS THAT, YOU KNOW, CHASE CAN TANK HIM WITH who by this time hangs out with the witches and is still sort of sane. chase eventually converts kamui to the other side, and kamui just shrugs his shoulders and walks on. easier to do things when someone else is controlling your fate.

SO KAMUI HANGS OUT WITH THE WITCHES and with the team dragons: namely, chase, altair, nataku and seishirou. he is a guest for the witches, and makes friends with other folks pretty damn well given his cheerfully creepy disposition; though he doesn't really have any problems telling his meister to kill you should you get in their way. no, um -- if you wanna be friends with him, hit me here. he likely doesn't really do much but lounge around the lair and all, though one might notice that the other four regard him as some unspoken leader. 8|a

okay, edited to be not dumb:

first thing's first, my sign up sheet is here (http://community.livejournal.com/soul_ooc/334575.html?thread=7665903#t7665903). it's kind of the Cliff Notes™ version of events I guess so if I need to elaborate I will!

gist of things: Jon gets to chill in a nice basement and make poisons all day and test them out on people because fuck yeah that is a super fun time to be had for all. ten years in, and aided by witchy magic, he's got a wide range of toxins available to him -- although they all still revolve around his modus operandi of course, which is fear. think the gamut of effects that fear toxin has in canon: inducing specific phobias in people where they didn't exist before (you are now afraid of... Tom Cruise! no wait, it's easy to be afraid of him anyway!); removing fear, essentially making people dangerously reckless; his original brand of "make the world look like shit" toxin, a general hallucinogenic that's basically an amplified Madness Wavelength that preys on preexisting fears; a ramped up version of the previous that is a much more involved hallucination -- creating a sort of "dream world" where passage of time is much more fluid (trapping the mind in a nightmare and leaving the unresponsive physical shell behind); also more if I feel like it but those are the effects I've come up with so far.

he does not work well with people. he's kind of a bit more crazy (as if that was possible) in the sense that he's less Jonathan Crane and more Scarecrow now. I'm thinking right now that he just doesn't remove the mask now, gets little sleep, etc. etc. very work oriented. a lot less stiff, a lot more... creepy, I guess. idk man, I'll experiment!

if your character came on to the Witches' side after a brainwashing or giving in to torture or whatever, chances are it was because of his handiwork. if your character participated in any Shibusen vs. Witches fight previously on the former's side, then they probably experienced his toxin there. he keeps mostly to himself these days, but his hand's in mostly everything.

he's just as wimpy as ever and likely likes to keep on "henchmen" of the more muscled variety. if you are such a person, then you may have reason to hang out with him! he is also not very picky about who he uses to test his latest poisons -- he'll behave if told to but otherwise I wouldn't trust being alone around him when he's working, even if you're technically on his side... :Ib

that was really tl;dr and I guess I didn't really explain anything very important -- so basically if you want to do stuff with his face, just tell me!

Okay, seriously. I'm looking for four plus people who are interested in some heavy conflict and/or combat (not all people are needed to be combat-heavy) and would be interested in more or less being the equivalent of a pack of Attack Dogs under the command of the Witches. It's their job to sniff out Weapons and Meisters and hunt them down, with extreme prejudice.

Vergil also needs a Witch or modded-Witch to follow around because by this stage he is dangerous to himself and to others with his insanity. When he's not hunting, he needs to be kept on a close leash, so if anyone wants a personal bodyguard, hit me up. Ok, let's hope this ends up making sense, I feel a little braindead right now and fear it might all just end up as incoherent babble.

Sara spent the first five years doing the whole fighting and going underground thing with Shibusen, with several different partners since Sasuke ditched him (if you want to have been one of those). By the five year mark, he's a two star meister, and very much sick of being on the losing side when there's nothing he really cares about tying him there -- no real partner, no Yuuri, ect. And he's kind of a bitch who'll hold a grudge forever, and he still hates Crane with a passion for messing with him during all the dear gassing, so he figures he might as well switch to the winning side and see if it gives him a chance at revenge.

So modded witch and all that for the last five years, he's been nice and obedient to the witches. He can't let them catch onto him just yet and destroy any chance he might have. He's probably been even more distant with relationships than he usually is, but he's still clinging to what dignity he does have so if you're of a rank below him, he might have bitched you out once or twice if only for the sake of not totally feeling like someone's dog.

Anything else? Er...he's cut his hair by the TYL mark (now closer to shoulder length like the inexplicable haircair he was given in the novels, from here (http://pdk.broken-sunshine.net/images/novel/novel1301.jpg) to here (http://pdk.broken-sunshine.net/images/novel/novel1208.jpg)) and he doesn't wear the purple glasses anymore.

Sakura was one of those people who were kidnapped and turned forcibly into a modified witch.

She's currently 22 years old, pretty if a little broken (in more ways than one). She's not anywhere near as cheerful as she was before, but she still tries to be kind when she can. Still dislikes fighting but goes for quick, clean kills rather than draw out people's suffering. She wears bells in her hair, too, so that people will hear her coming and have some chance to run.

Still haven't picked an animal association for her, but leaning towards some kind of animal with stealth capabilities to complement her Soul Moe ability (which distracts and calms enemies).

Up for any kind of plotting or planning, and it'd be nice if she had a Weapon to partner up with if anyone is up for it. o/

So Luki is pretty much the most badass awesome cutest thing ever. Except maybe Sakura. She hasn't completely lost herself, so she'll still be a little bit cheery in that really horrible way while she's goring people. She probably also retains her strange affections, but she's probably a lot more violent about it, now. She might just stab people for fun because she LOVES THEM FOREVER. She's secretly bitter and dead inside. Big Sis Rise is dead. Noki is still not here.

That being said, she probably still tries to have her own fun with the witches which involves harassing people and possibly starting fights where she wounds people. Or hugs them and inadvertently runs them through multiple times. As an actual Kishin and not a modified, forced, or egg Kishin and Angelika's BELOVED DAUGHTER I figure she's up there on the Witch Hierarchy. She probably doesn't have any leadership positions, though, and carries out missions by herself.

UM, BASICALLY. DO ANY WITCHY PEOPLE WANT TO BE HER FRIENDS or do any non-Witchy people want to have encountered her? Or. idk. Anything at all, really! =D

Chase Young (http://community.livejournal.com/soul_ooc/334575.html?thread=7737327#t7737327), everybody's beloved dragon and Evil Dude.

The gist of the story is: after running off to join the Witches because he wouldn't pick a Weapon and therefore couldn't fight, he was basically evil recruitment officer #213 and lured Fuumui over to the dark side, or helped with the process, anyway. About four or five years in, though, his mind started to deteriorate into its natural feral dragon form, so he lost a lot of the clout he held among the Witches and was forcibly turned into a Modified Witch. Since his animal counterpart is his dragon form, it wasn't hard to drag that back out.

Nowadays he spends most of his time slowly devolving mentally, caught somewhere between semi-human and dragon - both mentally and physically. He's somewhat insane, and more feral/animalistic than human, but he does retain some mental faculties and can still hold an angry conversation with people. He's well on his way to becoming a Witch pet, most likely, but in the meantime he follows orders, bites people, and tries to maintain something resembling sanity.

So if anybody wants to poke/prod/kick/fight him/have been present for his mental degeneration, I am totally up for it.

Adah has become quite an intelligent young woman in ten years. I suppose the first thing to mention would be that in ten years, she's never once stopped keeping notes on all the individuals that entered into Death City via BREW. Her work is massive, and while some of it is on paper, other things are found only in her head. She is THE WALKING LIBRARY.

She was originally in Shibusen, but after five years of watching her friends and research subjects die she decided that it was, perhaps, time to go where the more interesting people were actually still alive. And so she offered the witches all of her knowledge.

Currently, she keeps tabs on everyone still (yes, everyone, I'm looking at you) that she can get her hands on. She still keeps in touch with her friends outside of the witches and knows of their whereabouts.

Some notable changes about her personality are her limp and her refusal to speak. Adah no longer limps, and considers the limp and the Other Adah to be a part of her past- she's much more sane and no longer reads books backwards. SHE SPEAKS NOW. A lot, actually. She has a lot to say.

Also, she's hot. I mean, in canon she attracts all of the other doctors, c'mon. She's got to be smoking. And she's not hesitant about romantic feelings either.

She doesn't have a partner. If you would like to be her partner and wield a big stick that gives you ALL THE KNOWLEDGE IN THE WORLD...

If you would like specific CR with her, let me know! Friends/Enemies/Lovers/Partners/Whatever. Otherwise, she will know you and creep on you.

ROMANO || Modified Witch

Romano spent the first three years doing typical Shibusen things, partnered with Spain and going out and actually FIGHTING. He trained with Ping/Mulan during that entire duration, actually becaming pretty capable on the battlefield, though... still obviously fail sometimes just because it's him. SO TOTALLY OPEN for him making any sorts of friendships during this stage of life, no matter who you are.

Then Suzaku had to go and get himself captured, and so in a failed rescue attempt six years prior to the even (that is explained in just a bit more detail in my sign-up post), Romano got captured too and turned into a MODIFIED WITCH. With an Italian Wolf association, to be specific. Details about that also in the link above.

He probably spent a lot of time angsting about his situation and trying his VERY BEST to defy his witch in the year following his modification, but then eventually gave in to the idea that there was absolutely nothing he could do about it. He's a lot more jaded and cynical and grumpy and pessimistic, not to mention a bit more coolheaded and detached, especially towards killing people. But for the people he does become close with after his capture, he will be really protective with an obvious soft side. This definitely includes Suzaku, who will be his partner in crime, but would LOVE to have a few more witchy/kishin buddies for this kid!

He tries his ABSOLUTE BEST not to run into those that he was close to from back at Shibusen, so if you want to be included in that little section of buddies, we could probably work something out. Biggest one in this category's Spain by default though, LOL.

✘ Three years into this event, Suzaku was taken by the witches. He was also taken in by Angelica. He might've tried to ignore her at first, but he'd have fallen into step pretty quickly after that dog was inserted and occasional fits of violence started up (which he tries to fight off, but that doesn't always work). That means, yes. He's nearly completely obedient to everything she commands. Doesn't like or approve of her, exactly, but will protect and revere her in... one way or another. Stockholm syndrome, y'know. And slight insanity. And a nifty collar. Not even close to the same as Euphie, though.

✘ Bundle of resignation and self-loathing. Still determined that the modifieds have a good slice of it all (not resigned that those witches stuck for good); he'll try to be encouraging and supportive, even if he... can't muster much enthusiasm. If you need someone who you know will stick by you, he's the guy for it. If you also need someone to kick you for giving up, he'll sometimes revert to his "why yes I am going to poke a bit at your trivial flaws" side. Probably wanders around the factories/ stronghold and stands in random places a lot. Yeah, he's... kind of unhinged. BUT he's also almost yandere in how far he'll go to protect those people who are friends. Wouldn't call it a softer side, just... Haha. Well. Will discuss?

✘ Romano's the Meister of choice, along with a few notches of guilt for getting him stuck in this business. Buuut thanks to experimentation, he's kind of a tank on his own. Goes for a swift kill, if possible (after being a Hero and trying to talk you out of fighting him).

✘ Oh, and, uh, he's been with the witches long enough that he'll probably drag anyone who doesn't die from facing off with him to the witch's side. If anybody would like a reason for being captured. )8

Shin is going to be kicking it back with Noi. By now they should damn well be an item. He's also pretty protective of Noi, so don't except to see him anywhere but around her.

Other than that, he listens to the witches, does his job, shows up late for appointments and eats as much as they'll let him have (the mad cow burger's not bad!). He also signed up to become a Mod Witch of his own vocation, preferring to have his own fighting power at long last.

TYL, he looks more or less the same. His hairline has continued it's steady retreat (shin will be bald by 50 o.o).

Highlight is that Spit was kidnapped/forced into modification to be a witch three years ago. He doesn't like what he has to do but he's resigned to it and it's made him a little less cheery, but he's about the same person.

As a weapon! Spitfire has traded Meisters a lot over his years at Shibusen and likely done the same with Witches since he's really flexible in terms of personality/getting along with people. I'd like to have him have had a few past Meisters, so uh, if anyone wants a flaming rapier/man he is here for you :|a

Seishirou has a very loose personality, so he would be perfectly okay with Spitfire having other partners. But since he enjoys destruction/killing he will probably ask politely for him to join him frequently.

As explained in the sign up, he basically changed sides because one, this side had a better confort/food, two, he was getting bored on the other side.

He likes the fact that his orders now fit more his previous job as an assassin, and he enjoys to go to the other side killing and destroying.
His personality didn't changed much over the years, he is still kind of careless about almost everything/everyone, but his politeness and constant smiles are still there as well. As well with his false kindness that he does from time to time in order to get the others trusts more easily.

I also would love that he got a partner, since the destruction and killing is apparently hard without it. He would be easy to enter in sync due to his calm careless personality, and he would be okay with not having an exclusive weapon, just someone that occasionally tags along in his killing would be cool.

He is also okay with his partners will, he might even help out if he thinks it might be useful to him in someway or if he is just bored.

And for last, he hangs around with the Dragon of Earth family most of the time =) and likes to have a cozy meal on a restaurant before destroying the place, so his partner will get a free meal as well xD

After that wavelength attack by Asuma, Sasuke's temperament went downhill pretty hardcore. Any bonds he might have had been forming with anyone would have become strained, and he would have fallen into something of a 'bad crowd'. He went to the witches willingly after a while, tempted by the promise of power and something slick his thirst for revenge. In fact, after BREW was destroyed, he fully turned against Shibusen, blaming them for their involvement in this war-- and now they can't even go home.

Being ambitious, Sasuke threw himself fully into being a Witch. His animal is the SNAKE and his attacks are generally lightning/electricity based. He also managed to worm his way up in the ranks of the witches, so while he's not as strong as any of them, he's definitely a big threat. He can't really resonate with anyone anymore, if not only because he thinks he can DO EVERYTHING HIMSELF. But I'd like for him to have a sorta kinda team if anyone's interested.

I imagine he's led a lot of attacks on Shibusen, and is probably responsible for the deaths of more than one person on that side. >> So hit me up if you want Sasuke to have killed you. |D He's essentially his Crazy Shippuden Counterpart. THAT BEING SAID I'D LOVE FOR HIM TO KNOW A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WITH THE WITCHES. people working for/with him/anyone who has been there for a while that maybe he sorta kinda partnered up with.

As you can read from it, Eruka is not a very happy Witch. For those of you who do not know, Eruka isn't one of the Witches who actively wants to revive the Kishin Asura, or any Kishin for that matter, and she doesn't particularly get involved with the fight against Shibusen. The reason she is stuck doing all this is because Medusa put a lot of snakes in her body, and should she ever disobey her well. Those snakes are going to have themselves a nice meal.

PLEASANT ISN'T IT?

So she is pretty much Medusa's bitch which makes her Odyne and Angelica's bitch by extension. Not you Crane, you suck. Not actually she's probably your bitch too, that's just how much Eruka's life blows.

Either way she's always hated Medusa, already regretted her involvement in reviving Asura, and has canonly shown a stronger loyalty to Witches and a sense of friendship to those she likes, and a sense of wanting to be invisible to those she doesn't. Over the years I imagine that she's grown to hate herself for her cowardice and hand in hurting her fellow Witches, and she may have a slight bit of pride which makes her a bit uppity over turning regular humans into Witches.

Alas what has done cannot be undone---or can it? Should she hear word, yes, Eruka will turn against the Witches.

Now don't get me wrong, despite being everyone's ho Eruka is a pretty powerful Witch in her own right. She just doesn't really have the spine to go against anyone, but that's change in the past ten years. SO IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE DEPRESSED WITCH HIT ME UP.

Also---to all you modified Witches. Eruka is probably the only nice Master you will ever get in this hell hole, so. Yes. If you want your life to be slightly less miserable, be her pet.

+ She was one of the few guests who was kidnapped and taken from the beginning of TYL. She was separated from her partner, Hong Kong and has been kept away from the battlefield

+ As a modified witch, the animal she was fused with a fennec fox, a desert animal. This gave her large ears and a tail, both often drooped (because of resignation). She can hear things from far away and is now pretty comfortable in the desert heat or heat in general. She can now totally wear more than a slip of a dress...

+ Namine works as a healer by request and was allowed this because of her experience as medic and her own reluctance to wield any other weapon - human or otherwise. And while her meister ability (the ability to change the form of her weapon) is useful, she herself is very reluctant to use it.

+ She doesn't have a partner; Hong Kong remains with China in the CWC faction.

+ I'd like to think that if a character has been pulled over to the witches' side willingly or unwillingly, she would have treated them at least once.

Uh. Suggestions?
