what with the event coming up and all, figured it's about time i make this. kamui has the power to see your character's Wish. generally, a Wish is something that your character desires the most -- his raison d'etre for living, if you want, (if living is in their agenda at all --); or just the One True Thing in their lives that they need to attain so badly, they'd do anything to grant it. it can also be just something simple as 'i want to see ____'. (i'll expand on this later.) kamui is able to tell what someone wishes for just by looking at them. most of the time he defaults to not telling anyone what their Wish is, because he wants people to learn and figure that out by themselves, and accept things for themselves. 8|a hence X being perpetually on hiatus. also kamui is just a jerk and he normally opts to subtly terrorize people with their Wishes, like he does with seishirou all the time.

now, kamui used to be able to grant Wishes. given that he is not in tokyo, he won't be able to grant anybody's wish here; unless they wish something like 'I WANT TO SEE KAMUI' then yes, he'll be with you. but that's about the obligation he has to grant anything. what's mostly going to happen is all those people who he sees / interacts with on video and all during this event? consider your Wishes read. kamui's probably going to be confused for a bit, since as far as he knows BREW's supposed to have sealed that, but then again, the BREW-thing is probably broken. now i don't want to intrude, and this is the part you come in! i want you to tell me what kamui will see your characters Wish for, and whether trolling is a go, or you want me to mitigate the trolling and actually have him be a nice person to them, because kamui can play the role of a good councelor too. 8|b

another thing: sometimes, your character's Wishes may be tied to a certain person. let's say ... let's say that character X's greatest wish is that they want character Y to be safe. character X will then, for the lack of a better term, hallucinate character Y everytime he sees kamui's face, because X has Y all the time in his mind and Y is very important to him. and it doesn't matter whether Y is a boy or a girl. if X's desire to see Y is very strong, as well -- let's say for the sake of our example Y is the only thing that keeps him alive in this city -- X will probably not even see kamui's face. the length of time character ___ will see ___'s face will depend on how much they Wish for it. sometimes, it can all just be a very short time, and they can try to pass it off as a trick of the eye.

... what else. oh yeah. say you're spain, and spain wants a tomato. kamui will not turn into a tomato. 8| sorry, bro. Wishes have to be a lot more costly than that. think of the way xxxholic handles Wishes; ichihara yuuko / watanuki and kamui almost operate on the same principles.

lastly: dream-walking. kamui has the ability to pass through your dreams. he can't alter anything in the dreamland, and he can't harm anyone in there like he would be able to back at home. this is mostly permission to have kamui just spy on your dreams. +___+ most people don't sense him because he has spiritual barriers of his own; but if your character is good with having barriers and sensing things that go in their head, as well, feel free to talk to him / tell him to gtfo and stop spying.

that's about it, i think. hit me here if there's something you feel i didn't explain properly and all!

in short:

1) what do your characters Wish for, do you want the trolling/counceling;
2) who are they going to see, if they are going to see anyone else in kamui at all;
3) can kamui dance around your dreams?

1. Naomi's big wish would be pretty much a quiet life (relative to her work, anyway). Feel free to troll her!
2. Hard to say! It's between her daughter figure Alyssa and her coworker/assistant Little Guy. If both are possible I'd like that, but if I had to pick one I would probably say Alyssa because Naomi worries about her more. Duration for either would be much less than it would be for Namatame.
