Permissions Post for Hiruko
Wrong account, I know. But. Basically. Hiruko, with his baku powers back?
- the ability to enter dreams and nightmares, which he does regularly throughout the series, using this ability to help those in need in exchange for eating the nightmare itself.
- Likewise, he can send someone into their own dream/nightmare. Someone he sends to sleep forcibly will be unable to wake up unless he or another baku goes in and wakes them up themselves, as shown in his need to enter Kashina’s dream to wake her and Hifumi after Azusa puts the two to sleep.
- His cane “collects” the nightmares of his clients for him, condensing it to a round, bite-sized ball for him to eat, which sustains him. Once he eats it, this does not mean the dreamer forgets it or cannot have the same dream again though.
- The only way for a baku to ‘die’ is to pass it on to someone else.
- Hiruko’s “body” itself, is pretty indestructible, able to take significant damage, shown when he willingly steps/jumps off of a roof, where this only takes him a few days to recover from, such is the benefits of being an “immortal” baku.
TL;DR?
Nightmares. Who has then and who needs help with them? XD Because Hiruko can. In exchange for eating (yes, literally) your nightmare.
