Howdy!
Alright, I'm Jason, and this happens to be my first time doing... well, this. New to LiveJournal too, for that matter. But I've been lurking around for a while, slowly being converted unti, voila, I'm here finally.
I decided to app as Vergil, from Devil May Cry 3 (Special Edition!). He's probably my favourite character above all, though I get the impression he'll be something of a challenge. What with being an antagonist and all, plus a little evil, and sort of disliking people as a whole. For the uneducated, he's one of the half-demon twin sons of Sparda, the Demon Warrior who fought against demonkind two thousand years ago and defeated Mundus, Lord of the Demon World, for the sake of humans. His mother was killed by demons as a child. To compensate for what he perceives to be his own weakness, he really, really desires power and he's not above cutting down anybody who even mildly gets in his way.
In S_C, he's a Meister with the Soul Adrenaline ability, which increases his overall power the longer he fights. Given the nature of DMC3, it's pretty fitting, to say nothing of his tendency of eventually getting bored in combat and resorting to mercilessly slicing his enemies to pieces. He's probably going to be looking for a Weapon with a sword form, naturally, though he could probably get by with just about anything. His motivations likely won't change for this campaign either - he showed up here just as he was about to throw his own corpse at Mundus, so he has a hardass battle to look forward to after this war is over. He's going to need him some power.
