And no, OVAs would have just been more confusing. One Sara-centric episode that introduces him in a completely different manner than the actual series (a point which is never acknowledged in the series, to many viewers' confusion), a fesitval/tournament episode, a love-tester episode, another filler thing I can't remember, and then the second half of Sara's story four OVAs late =/
