Greetings! I'm a new player to the game. You can call me Manda!

I'm bringing in my first character - the spazzy and cheerful redheaded girl who is actually a duck -  Ahiru from Princess Tutu! 

She'll be very confused at first, of course. And probably klutzing out all over. :D; But she'll adjust soon enough! And beware - even you grumpy, anti-social types aren't going to discourage her friendliness easily unless you're really scary!

I took my name from Samus Aran, the first character I RPed on LJ. My RL name is not one that works too well among RPers (as I was named after a fictional character) or I'd probably use some variation of it. XD

I'm not familiar with Princess Tutu either, but from what you've said, I can already imagine Kanda being VERY EASILY BUGGED INDEED! Especially if Ahiru is the persistent type. (For the record, I approve of the bugging, however much he bristles, rants, threatens, and just plain storms off in a huff IC. XD )

Badou's more laid back so long as he's got his smokes, but if he's ever without them...beware the nic-fit!

She can be pretty persistent, yes. XD The bristling and ranting and threatening is something she's already used to! So you could say she's built up a slight immunity to it. Unless she seriously makes him upset or something. Then she'll feel bad.
