Long story short: I'm working on writing a paper and catching up on school stuff until July 17th. I'll tag around where I can, but I need to stop being so easily distracted while I do this since it's my last semester.

Attention, Soul Campaign!

1. We are closing the October 2011 application cycle.

Because of size and plot/event considerations, we have decided to close applications to the game for the October cycle. We will be reopening in late December, though the exact date will be announced later. The last application cycle before we close apps until December is August.

2. Further changes to the application form.

This isn’t really an announcement but more of an FYI: We made minor changes to the application form for August. We added another question to the SC-Section, and we have a new email address for applications so please send your applications there. See here.

We are also working on revisiting the samples for the weapon section.

3. We are implementing a new posting rule for soul_campaign network posts.

Every post to the Demise should have the in-game date on the header of the post. A simple November 27, Morning will be great in keeping track of our character’s IC movements. You don’t need to go back to your former entries and edit them, but please implement this for your characters’ new entries.

As a note, if you want to find out what any character did on so and so dates, you can use the tag system for that, with commas between relevant tags. http://soul-campaign.livejournal.com/tag/!new day, character name, c: character name

For example: http://soul-campaign.livejournal.com/tag/!new day, spirit albarn, c: spirit albarn will show all of Spirit’s posts, comments, and the day changes in chronological order.

4. Character activity during player hiatus.

We’re not implementing anything regarding this, but we would like to remind everyone that if you are going on extended periods of hiatus, it would be good if you can talk to your CR about where your character is going/what they are doing for that period.

5. Don’t forget to tag your entries and comments.

[Edit July 4] We have revised the application for that same section again to reflect the suggestions and concerns of the players in the comments.

slow/hiatus

Hello, Manda here to announce that I'll be going on a bit of a slowaitus for about a week or so! Real life is starting to take a toll on me and I realize I need to back of a little bit. For the most part, this won't effect a whole lot because... well, I'm pretty slow anyways! During this time, important things like the Arizona mission will be taking priority, so there's no need to worry about waiting on me for that!
