Late greeting post, but merry Christmas!

I think everyone has introduced themselves by now, so I'd like to welcome all of you and wish you all a merry Christmas at the same time! As far as introductions go, I'm Arisato and I play Katsura Kotarou from Gintama! Feel free to hit me up on Plurk for anything, and I'd also appreciate it if you take a look at this post and fill it out.

That being said, merry holidays whichever you're celebrating and even if it isn't December 25th yet!

Christmas thingers!

#soulcampaign is now open!

#soulcampaign is an mIRC room for the game. AIM chatroom has been failing to get the players together for random hanging out and we’ve gotten comments that Plurk has long since become difficult to use for that purpose, so certain people thought that maybe an irc room would work better. It’s been successful ever since the announcement of the beta a week ago so we have decided to keep it. Of course, everyone is free to continue using AIM and Plurk to communicate with each other and people are still free to get together in AIM chatroom if they like; but all the players are welcome to use this to hang out.

It’s not that complicated! Just follow the guides that your fellow players have put up.

Mibbit and Nightstar are particularly easy for beginners! There will be other tutorials going up for other venues through the next week! If you want to toss one up, we'd be glad for it!

Because of this, we have also updated what was previously known as the AIM chat permissions page and adding to its contents with irc-related tutorials.

We have a present to you! … of the Activity Check sort.

November and December has been a terrible time for the players all over, and since we don’t want people to drop because of these two months, we’re going to be allowing a Christmas Pass next Activity Check. Like the exemption for new characters, using the Christmas Pass will let you get through AC next week without having to give AC proof -- for all your characters! You won’t be able to use the Christmas Pass for application requirements, but it’s a good way to start over for the year, especially if you’ve had some strikes or hiatuses.
