Don't be kind to him because for sure he'll give you guys a headache. Please be nice to him though, since he's really a nice guy. Just noisy. Really noisy. Unless he's reading jump or sleeping.

Now, along with this post is a permission to 4th wall all of you who came from a manga or a Japanese RPG. Gintoki's pretty much familiar with these things (although I might not be, so I'd appreciate your help) so for sure, when he crosses your likes, he's going to be... like a five yr. old boy in his first comic con (although he's going to act 'cool' at first but he's really ogling inside.)

Sweat not. Gintoki will not tell you that you died (unless you want to, Matt) but for sure his reactions towards you guys would be you guys are all cosplayers who just went nuts and crazy. If you do convince him that you're the real thing, then he prolly won't reveal what happens to you in the latest chapter he read, but do know that his actions towards you will be based on how he understood your personality in the comic and he might, if he sees a pattern familiar to something he read in a comic (LOOK YAMAMOTO! A WALL!), he would probably step in but wouldn't exactly tell his reasons why.

So yeah, please, if you want Gintoki to fourth wall you, please comment on how much I should divulge Gintoki's knowledge unto you guys. Before coming into this game, I went through some lengths canon reviewing some of the fandoms that are big here that came from Shounen Jump, like D. Gray Man, Reborn, Hunter, Neuro, Eyeshield, and Death Note. If you came from a shounen manga (e.g. FMA or holic) he might also recognize you but he probably doesn't know you guys as well as the Jump guys.

For the villainish characters in Jump... he might have an innate distaste for you guys after knowing either how stupid you are or how evil you are. If your series already sucks in his eyes, he will show it.

Since this is also Gintoki from the latest chapter of Jump (meaning as of last week.) he's probably familiar with what happened with your characters in the last week. So yeah, if you have people stuck in some canon past or something, he might know what happened to you guys as well. Unless, of course, he stopped reading your series and voted it as the worst jump title that came out every week. >_>

The same fourthwalling permission might be asked from those in the Final Fantasy games. He's an old school guy, so he might have played you guys on a borrowed play station. Oh good, most of you guys are from the play station one. T^T)b awesome.

Heya Khursten and welcome! I'm Skyler and I play DGM's resident grump here, as well as Badou from DOGS.

As for 4th walling with each of them--I'll say yes for Kanda, within reason. Please to not be mentioning any of the current plot arc with Alma or anything that happens after the battlefield in Jordan, which is when he came to S_C from. (Actually, since DGM has switched from Jump and is now in Jump Square, do you think Gintoki would still be following it? Or would he have stopped reading when the serialization changed?)

For Badou, I think I'm actually going to request no 4th walling. He's got enough pop cultural references to make on his own without becoming one himself, and anyway, he comes pre-equipped with enough of a dose of smoke crack without outside aid. Anywho, since DOGS is more seinen than it is shonen, it shouldn't be too much of an issue...?

I'm sure Gintoki would be following the current arc as well (If Jump has his heart, Jump Square is probably an extension of it. Like his lungs or something.) Alright, I won't mention the current plot arc with Alma. But his emotardery will definitely be noted.

As for Badou, okay. I already agreed to fourth walling Naoto there but I can always reason as much that he had little or absolutely no interest in Badou because his character design was 'too excessively cool that he's stupid.' And I think it would go as far as that.

Hey there, Khursten! Welcome to Soul Campaign~ I'm Ghost and I play Allen Walker from the obvious ex-Jump series and bulletcarnage from DOGS. I hope you have a lot of fun playing here. Likewise I think Gintoki could end up being a blast X)

As far as 4th walling goes for my guys... Well, give Gintoki would know DGM it's fine for him to recognise Allen to some degree. I'm taking him from before just before the Alma ark so really for Allen any mention of events in canon from chapter 187 onwards is a no-go. I don't mind if Gintoki knows about Allen's 14th-ness or mentions it to Allen if it were to come up, as long as it's handled carefully.

As far as Heine goes I feel like DOGS overall is not a setting that is best suited from the cracky and Heine is a character I try to maintain very cautiously at the best of times so no 4th walling for him, please :)!

I was talking about this with Skyler and Yukeh earlier and I've come up with the idea that he really didn't give a rat's ass about Heine and Badou because they're "too cool that they're boring" (to him at least. He generally hates (more of jealous) characters who try to act cooler than him.) And he only kept track of Naoto because LOL hot chick. >w<)b I hope that's fine with you.
