EVENT: Fight to Save Costa Rica

Hey, Soul Campaigners!

A while ago, the people of San Jose, Costa Rica were finally able to return home after the evacuation.

On three month anniversary, a monument to remember the lives lost was unveiled. Two days later, the government received a threat.

Or rather, a politely worded letter declaring an intent to invade the city, signed by our friend the witch, Hachi.

Due to the fact that it involves a witch, the government of Costa Rica approaches Shibusen once again.

However, there is one key difference from last time: the people have had enough of running.

Children and other non-combatants will be evacuated, but many of the locals have chosen to volunteer to fight. They've just returned home, for better or for worse, they're not leaving.

Unfortunately, that may cause more problems than not...

April's event as mentioned before will happen from September 1st to September 2nd ICly (April 15th - 21st OOCly)

On September 1:

Characters will arrive in San Jose on September 1st and help prepare the city for the invasion, setting up barricades and helping prep any civilian volunteers for battle as best they can.

There will also be a strange NPC appearing on this day that your characters can interact with...who are they? Well...they appear harmless and human, at least.

On September 2:

The attack begins in earnest and it's, as you guessed, Clowns. By now your character probably has a pretty good idea about their weaknesses and strengths, having fought them so many times, right? Unfortunately, if they rely too much on their assumptions they may find themselves in hot water. The Clowns attacking the city may look the same but they are stronger and their abilities more refined then ever before.

Here's what this means...

Purple Clowns : have the ability to seemingly sap people's energies get too close and it can very quickly bring the average person to their knees in seconds. Engaging in close combat with these Clowns will be incredibly dangerous and difficult. Their regenerative abilities have also been amped up allowing them to be able to reattach a severed limb almost instantaneously. It will take a lot of hard hitting to take these Clowns down now.

Mustard Yellow Clowns : have one eye that is red and one that us blue (though why anyone would want to be close enough to see this is) these ones have psychic powers including creating psychic energy blasts and manipulating materials. They are also significantly stronger than before, increasing the range and strength of their attacks.

Silver Clowns : Are still shapeshifters, but can now copy people perfectly, even down to speaking (though they can only parrot what they've heard their targets saying) which means that Silver Clowns can and will approach fighters posing as civilian volunteers or even your fellow Guests. They are still weak to electricity, however.

Red Clowns : These fast Clowns have elongated pieces extending from the top of its head as if...it had hair? It is capable of instantly stealing/plundering the heat/energy of any target it can see. This typically results in the target getting lit on fire as it takes the heat away from her target that the surrounding air is too hot, hence producing flame. However, their near-sightedness is now gone so now the only way to really avoid their ability is hiding behind something or staying out of its field of vision altogether...which will be no easy task as these Clowns are incredibly fast.

In addition to the Clowns the local police and civilian volunteers will also be fighting. They don't really stand much of a chance but Shibusen has asked that you try to help keep civilian casualties to a minimum. And then there's the mysterious figure you might have seen around town hanging about still...this time on the side of the Clowns and this person's got a few cards up their sleeves...
