EVENT: Retake the City!

Orange here! In retrospect, this should have been included with the last mod post but you know what they say about hindsight.

As mentioned in previous event info, characters will be returning to Death City on the 4th ICly. However, due in part to poor planning on my part and an incredibly spotty internet connection, I realize that this post is horribly late. So in order to give all of you time to plan, the next day change will be postponed by a day. (Though given how I tend to do RP stuff at midnight it's pretty much already the next day anyway). The day change of the fifth will also be pushed back a day but the day change of the sixth will happen on next Friday as usual.

So, how it will look this coming week:

Saturday, September 21: day change of July 4th
Wednesday, September 25: day change of July 5th
Friday, September 27: day change of July 6th


I apologize profusely for any inconveniences this might have caused.


Anyway, onto the event information:

When the characters return to the city, they come back to a city covered in sand and infested with Kishin Eggs. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to clear out the city! It won't be an easy fight because these Kishin Eggs are made to move in the sand, but without the sandstorm providing the enemy with cover they have less of an advantage and it will certainly be harder for them to run away. With perseverance you can clear the city of this infestation!

As for who caused all this to happen...well, you have your favourite terrorist group to thank for that. Of course, Kishin Eggs don't tend to think much about whether their prey are friends or foes...

This mission requires characters to sign up in pairs, but they don't need to be permanent parters or have been partners for any length of time!

Rewards:
► 5 Meister points / souls (for Meisters and Weapons, respectively.)
► 950D$ per person
► Weapons may choose not to eat their souls, but they cannot be traded amongst each other.
► Sign ups for the missions go here. In order for your characters to receive the rewards, you must at least provide a summary of what happened.

So, Naoto's on this with Kanji and I think Valentine is still working with Albel. Amaterasu has Ghoulia (Cupid too?) and Rosalia may have Disciple. Of course, if anyone wants to meet up with any of them for a temp. partnership (Naoto withstanding), I'm up for it! Just a reminder:

Anyone want a weirdo troll for a temp partnership? I'd love to have Psii in on the mission. He's a Weapon whose ability is giving his Meister a limited form of telekinesis.

Morgan is a Meister with Soul Excitement (resonates better when excited) and is looking for a temporary partner for this! She's a bounty hunter and experienced with swords but will try other stuff, too. Preferably things she can wield with one hand since she tends to do a lot of acrobatics in fights.

Fabiola is currently kicking it old-school in Venezuela with Bumblebee, and I assume Meenah will be with Ramza for this, though if she's not she's a Meister with the ability Punny Soul.

Cupid in the meantime, will probably be out and about trying to help people patch up anything broken, but if anyone wants her, she's a Weapon- namely a bow that shoots really explosive light arrows.

Ridiculously late but

If there's a spare weapon who wants a Meister for some last-minute sign ups, Mondo is itching to go out and beat some twisted evil things. His Meister ability is Soul Leader, and while he works best with melee weapons, I'm sure he'll be able to roll with whoever wants to try dealing with him. o/
