I can't fight this feelin' anymoooorreee

Hello, everyone! It's Mel, the player behind Johan Andersen ([personal profile] wearspurpleclothes) and Shinji Ikari ([personal profile] hedgehogsdilemma), Bringing in a third character. This time, it's Robert Edward O Speedwagon from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Yes, that is a band reference. :v The series is filled with them.

In canon, he's an extremely British man from the 1880s, who has recently become an oil tycoon in America after helping his best friend and a 50 year old Italian fight a bunch of zombies and a vampire. By 'help', I mean he was largely ineffectual because he doesn't have any of the ridiculous super powers unnecessary to even stand up to anything particularly menacing, but details. As to be expected, he's in for a world of culture-shock because wow suddenly it's 2010 and he was supposed to be meeting someone very important before he got pulled in to Death City.

Game-wise, Speeedwagon's a Meister with the ability Soul Protect, and probably won't know what to do with himself once he finds out he actually has some kind of super natural ability. I look forward to getting to play him with you all! o/

Sorry, couldn't resist. :D

Anyway, I look forward to Sheena meeting this man, and his reaction to how she's dressed.

You know, since a proper British gentleman meeting tomboyish curvy can only end well. :D

Yep, because I doubt he's seen anyone dressed like her--and them not being of a certain profession. :P

This reminds me to catch up on Jojo too, dang it. I actually cosplayed Narancia like a billion years ago for a friend and I had only seen a few pages from the manga for references, I actually started reading that generation a couple months ago but I got distracted by life. I also started collecting the new anime but have only managed to watch 3 episodes so far. So much fail, but I've always loved the Stands and the lulzy names.

Eh, it's still hard to get used to because the characterization is pretty cheesy *cough* Speedwagon *cough* and every single girl ever. (I haven't gotten a chance to check out Jolyne's generation though) But I will eventually watch/read it all. I wonder if they plan to redo the 3rd generation? I remember really liking N'Dour's Stand in conjunction with his good hearing.

Yeah, a couple of friends wanted to do Mista and Buccellati so they talked my sister and I into Narancia and Giorno. lol We really had no idea what it was at the time and I just remember getting a really funny sunburn. =D
