Hi, everyone! This is Kim, that person who plays the weird green frog (who is not an alien, kappa, or ingredient for French cuisine). Orange (who plays Eve) and I have two little announcements/Metokkori R-related things to talk to you about under the cuts for Orange's tldr.



As of Himura Tomoe's disappearance from Death City, ownership of the Hikan Tea Shop has been transferred to Keroro and it will be renamed the Hikan Cafe and will act as a sort of off-shoot of Metokkori R.

The Hikan Tea Shop was originally opened by Hisashide (from Sengoku Basara) and the person who told Keroro about this place knows the Hikan Tea Shop as the place where the owner drinks out of a skull. This is not the kind of image Keroro wants associated with Metokkori R. So currently, the Hikan Cafe is under going renovations that will, 1) give it a colour scheme that matches the Metokorri R main store and 2) will bust down the wall between the two stores.

We are currently looking for employees, more importantly a cook/baker/whatever who can create a cute menu that will help cement the Hikan Cafe's new image as a family oriented restaurant.




Okay, secondly: Death City, prepare your wallets yourself, because along with the grand re-imagining of the Hikan Tea Shop as the Hikan Cafe (more details below), Metokorri R will be bringing to Death City the Chara Misfortune - Leaders of the Watch Series! (Based on the Chara Fortune keychains sold in Japan. More information on Chara Fortune stuff found here.)

Some time ago, Keroro approached Roy to ask to take pictures of the Zone Leaders and Second in Commands for promotional purposes. These pictures were then sent off to be made into the Chara Misfortune keychains which will then be sold in Metokkori R in blindboxes (which means anyone who buys one won't know which keychain they'll be getting in each box. Will your character get the one they want on the first try? Or will they need to by 10+ boxes before they get lucky?)

Unlike the original keychains, each box comes with a sticker of the keychain that's in the box which your character can put into a sticker book available separately in Metokkori R. By collecting one of every sticker in this book, they can claim a special Roy Mustang Chara Misfortune Keychain.

OOCly, I want to know which characters would be interested in getting a Roy keychain, because Orange and I have decided there should be just enough that not everyone will get one. Makes things more interesting. :D

Also, just a note, a few of the Zone Leaders that were there when we first conceived of this idea and started to have Keroro ICly approach people are now gone, we've decided to just cut them out of this. We want to keep this thing fun and cute and selling tiny key chains of people already gone or who have stepped down (or in one case, got canon-updated) seems too much like throwing salt onto people's wounds.

This will happen in the period from February 21-23rd in game, depending on how current plots play out.

XDc I think it would be more interesting for him to buy and have several of the other zone leaders [or even himself! Who knows?], before he finally finds the Toph keychain. I can foresee him visiting on several occasions before he's able to claim that Roy keychain, yes.

Also, he is quite amiable, so Eve could chat him up if she was so inclined to do so~

I've decided to give Neji horrible luck and have to open a number of boxes once he decides he wants a keychain of Lain. He'll end up giving most everyone he gets over to her and Bold will harangue him to get a Roy to complete her set. SO. Count them down as interested in one xD

We still need a manager and waiters, actually! And, lol, if Hughes joins up Metokkori R will officially have two employees who aren't girls or children. Up until now Itou had the dubious honour of being the only man besides Keroro working there. And technically he didn't have an official position (his job title was 'Stepladder' though soon it might become Barista/Stepladder) XD;;

Speaking of, Hughes should be ready for the fact that he will sometimes be called away to change lightbulbs or get things off the high shelves since, the next tallest employee after Itou is Saya who's 150-something cm... =w=;;

Haha, we already have someone volunteering for baker/cook, but we could always use a waitress. Especially nice ones since Keroro wants this to be a more family oriented place.
