EVENT: Shadow and Fog and A Murderer
Salutations, Soul Campaigners!
So, as of September 7th ICly, the city has been notified about the situation with a previous Guest by the name of Adachi by Kanji Tasumi and Naoto Shirogane via a network post.
They also mention something about training.
Here's more information about that: for two IC days (September 8th to 9th Icly, which is May 9th to 15th) a section of a collapse underground tunnel will be available for those who want to try dealing with the effects of the fog to train and try dealing with their shadows.
More information about the yellow fog (lovingly lifted from the original mod post about its effect with some minor edits):
First off - When your shadows first manifest here in the city, they manifest everything your character happens to be wearing and what they have on them.
On confronting your shadow, please note, that you can do single confrontations and confrontations with more than one person present. However, please keep in mind that your character is the only person capable of defeating their own shadow. By defeat, we do not mean it in the physical sense. Defeating your Shadow means accepting it, for when Shadows take on their monster-form it is typical for the original person to pass out. Other people present may be capable of subduing it, but it is up to your character to accept the shadow. Once this happens, your shadow will disappear.
Denying your shadow will cause the shadow to warp into a far more monstrous exaggeration. Normally, these Shadows tend to be huge and hard to miss, but because this yellow fog is only a remnant of what was left behind, Shadows won't get so strong as to be a huge boss fight (which is not to say they won't attack, though.)
And Finally, while this is a way to really express your character's inner most fears, desires, or inhibitions, please stay true to your character and present it in an IC fashion. Anyone seen abusing shadow form for OOC will have the right to play a shadow taken away.
