Hi! We understand your concerns, and we did think about it before implementation. Part of the rehaul is also in how we judge apps -- a lot of the revision requests before were partly due to redundancy issues within the application form and requirements themselves, and we believe that removing the redundancies will allow not only for streamlined apps, but also will let the mods and the app team decide on apps more objectively and with less nitpicking compared to the older days. This should ideally make the judgment easier on the players -- not exactly more lenient, but minus many of the kinds of revisions we used to ask for before.

However, since this new process is still under testing, we'll make sure to be more considerate in the coming app cycles and see how well this process works for the game, and adjust accordingly.

And! We'll be putting up sample apps eventually to help applicants calibrate their apps, too. I hope this helps with some of your worries!
