well its a good thing that qilby's totally a grounded, normal, nice old guy, why would madness overly affect him... that'd be implying he has something to be crazy over...
... but that being said let's just assume for a moment that he's not and maybe he'll be feeling a bit worse for the wear during all this, yes, let's go with that.
i don't have any real plans since i'm at work right now but maybe i'll think of something later! maybe by then he'll have icly met someone like a partner or whatever to hang out with? anyone want an old man?! who might be acting a little weirder than usual?!
ETA: ok ok so i decided that qilby certainly does have a lot of self-control so for the most part he won't be like... trying to bite people or whatever the hell crazy people do. he certainly won't be his nice, placid self though -- maybe casually mentioning stuff about how this world is interesting and how he'd like to put some of you guys in tubes because wow your abilities are just so intriguing and it'd be a shame if you died in battle and they were lost before they could really be studied--

in any case i do think he be lucid enough to try and help gather up the injured and help them to safety, et cetera... someone's got to think of the children. :(
