1. You are required to participate in the HMD post. The Love Meme is optional. Even if you do not offer critique, you must post yourself and your characters in the meme. We ask that you post a link to your post in your Activity Check.

2. The meme will be separated into two parts - the How's My Driving? post and the Love Meme post.

The HMD section should contain both constructive and/or positive criticism of the characters -- for example: areas for improvement, suggestions, or more elaborate reasons why you love how someone plays a character, etcetera. You are required to enter your name and characters to the HMD part of the set.

The Love Meme section is pretty much what it says -- it's where you can put your proclamations of love.

3. Understand that this is not an open invitation to bash characters. We expect real critique - if you do have an issue, we expect you to be able to back it up, and provide ideas on how it may be fixed. Basically, no trolling/flaming.

4. We will be posting with the moderation journal in both posts - this is a chance for you to comment on the game as a whole. Anything you would like to see fixed, etc. - now is also your chance to post it.

5. A note to all active NPCs - if your character has been posting, we ask that they also participate in the meme.

6. The HMD is community-locked to prevent outside sources from accessing the SC HMD. Unfortunately, this has also removed the anon option for comments. However, a separate post has been provided for anon comments under the mod HMDs.

So remember that hiatus I called but never actually announced on the OOC comm?

Well I'm back! It took a little longer than planned because Thanksgiving/Girlfriend/Convention hiatus turned into computer fail hiatus and then 'work killed me' hiatus. And hopefully I will get my tagging groove on later today or during the mornings next week.

Alright, Clare's spent the past few days TRAINING and WORKING like a good little overly serious teenager. So now that I am back I should tag all the old training threads and I should talk to some people about who has been checking up on Clare, and who helps her with her training regularly other than Selendis (and in that case, how sore/injured is Clare after each of their sessions).

Also, there are missions again, I should send Clare on a mission, anyone wanna plot out trying something like that with me. Well, other than who I've already spoken to about the idea like a month ago when there weren't missions.

I swear I'll be less fail in the coming month until work kills me again as its all downhill from here!

Given how long I've been nonexistent now, this probably isn't going to come as much of a surprise, and I really wish I didn't have to do this, but... yeah, Misao's going to be heading back home, meaning I'll be dropping out of the game entirely.

The last month or so has been pretty terrible for me IRL, and though it's improving now, it killed a lot of my RP motivation, and trying to keep up with the game is extra stress I really can't deal with right now. I'm really sorry, guys -- I've had a really fun time here, and I'm going to miss playing with everybody because you're all wonderful, really ♥ If things are looking up in a few months I might try apping back in, we'll see.

extending hiatus and a drop

Good news for real life and bad news for RP: If all goes well, I might be moving soon (within the next month) and need a lot of time to worry about packing etc. Therefore, I'm extending hiatus until January 18th, bringing me to the full 2 months. I'm SO SORRY about this, guys, but I just can't seem to do both IRL and RP right now. I'll probably be dropping most treads, too, but I'll try to talk to individuals about this.

zusealgorithm will be on hiatus... but sadly I'm dropping vimmdrnuddma and won't be apping this round like I planned to. I know this inconveniences people, and I apologize. ;; Sticking with the voice I hear the strongest, and maybe she'll be back one day, who knows?

Intro Log Volunteers!

It's nearly app cycle, so here's to prepare for the new intro log coming up!

Intro Logs: We need volunteers!

Every application cycle, we put up an introduction log for the new characters coming into the game. In these logs, members of Shibusen take the new guests around Shibusen and the city, bring them to the Casualty Communal, and inform them of being meister or weapon. This log is important to get the new characters more easily situated in the setting of Soul Campaign.

The threads, specifically, are titled:
- Kishin Chamber: Where they first appear. This used to be the chamber were Kishin Asura was kept, but is now unused except when the BREW decides to pull people in.
- Around Shibusen: A short tour of the school premises and facilities.
- Outside Shibusen: A view of the city and the desert beyond it.
- Around Death City: A glimpse of Death City as they go from Shibusen to Casualty Communal (through the commercial district).
- Casualty Communal: Where they are told about their new residencies, how to upgrade to other places to live, and to give them an opportunity to find out what they are via Soul Perception.
- Soul Perception: Various people with Soul Perception and Shibusen’s equipment help tell the new characters whether they are meister or weapon. The equipment takes the form of an X-ray that can show what a person’s soul looks like. It functions as a substitute for basic Soul Perception.

We need volunteers from the current characters to handle the December application cycle, due to the large number of applicants coming in.

How will it work? The NPCs will start all the main threads in the logs as usual. When characters reply to the section you are assigned to, you can choose to tag these players and therefore have that thread.

There are specific requirements that we need from the characters and players going to be volunteers. The mods and NPCs will of course be helping you if there are some things that you are uncertain about during the threads.
1. They have to necessarily be supportive of Shibusen or at least believes in promoting the well-being of the guests. Shibusen will ICly be approaching these characters to ask them if they can help, and Shibusen won’t do that if the character is known to actively move against them or is known for making trouble for others in Death City. We can always come up with some IC reasons to be a volunteer if your character doesn't have a particularly good rep with Shibusen -- just let us know.
2. The characters need to be adequately informative and helpful. The new characters will be asking questions, so the volunteers need to be able to answer a good amount of them with accurate information.
3. The characters need to have a good know-how of how things work in Death City. Things like where to find the clinic, who to contact in case of emergencies, knowing about the Watch, trainings, shopping, and recent (and previous) attacks to the city -- these are some of the things that the characters might have to update their new buddies about.
4. Will be free from December 17 to 23ish, or can at least devote some tagging time for the log. We won’t be asking you to handle ten threads each or something, and we don’t need you to tag at the speed of light, but we would like all threads to be finished in a timely manner. We also need to make sure that all the characters have someone tagging them. It wouldn’t be nice if anyone was left out!

This set of volunteers will only be for this cycle -- should we need it again next cycle, we will coordinate it beforehand. The deadline for volunteering is December 15, which gives the mods and NPCs some time to revise the intro log threads to accommodate the volunteers.

Note: We will be adding another subthread of sorts, which will be in the Communal and will be open to all characters, volunteers or not. This way, people don't need to volunteer just to be able to welcome their preferred castmates into the game. However, please do volunteer if you can!
