Monster/Object: Mother Grub Description:Description over here, with a much better pic over here. Effects: It's the one creature responsible for the entirety of the troll race's reproduction. In a nutshell, it cooks up the genetic material of every troll in Alternia, ever, after said material was collected by drones, and lays out hundreds of thousands of troll eggs at once. Yes, it's as disgusting as it sounds. It is unclear as to whether or not the mother grub is a good fighter; there's a whole blood caste dedicated to taking care of them and their progeny, but it might just be that mother grubs grow tired as they lay more eggs. Kanaya's lusus was a virgin mother grub and it defended her from all sorts of beasts just fine, but it declined to brood so it could take care of Kanaya, so there could be other differences in terms of strength/power. It's better to just go with "can defend itself and attack when provoked, is probably too weakened by laying god knows how many eggs throughout the years". Weaknesses: I'm pretty sure it is as strong/weak as your general troll lusus / over sized moth-bug-thing. Any additional notes: The mother grub can't speak (nothing states this in canon, but Kanaya's lusus was a virgin mother grub and it couldn't speak, either), so any communication will have to happen nonverbally. Again, by looking at Kanaya's lusus, we can see that the mother grub can hover above the ground with its wings, but I don't think there's any other info on it that's relevant enough to bring up. As for sizing it down/making it smaller, you can see how big it is on that picture with Kanaya, so that's up to you mods.
