Character: Lily Ivory Canon: The Witchcraft Mysteries Is this character participating in the swap?:Yes
Monster/Object: Sitri Description: A demon Lily exorcised in the second novel. As described in a demonology Lily reads in the book: “The twelfth spirit, called Sitri, alias Bitru, is a great prince, appearing at first with the face of a leopard, and having wings as a Griffin; but afterwards at the command of the Exorcist, he putteth on a human shape; he is very beautiful, he inflameth a man with a woman’s love, and also stirreth up women to love men. Being commanded, he willingly detaineth secrets of women, laughing at them and mocking them, and causeth them to shew themselves luxuriously naked if he be desired, etcetera. He governeth sixty legions of spirits…”
For an image reference, I’m actually going to link to the SMT wiki since some of those games apparently used the same demon. But the version from Lily’s world probably has a slightly different color scheme since she describes it as having the wings of an eagle. Effects: Tends to be mostly about making mischief and playing with people’s minds rather than actual violence. Mocks women, gives people impulses to strip, and can cause couples to passionately embrace. Can create illusions like making a person’s face look melted. Was also able to temporarily possess a couple of weaker-willed people in the book but that can be dropped if it’s too much. Weaknesses: The effects can be resisted, kind of like resisting Madness. Sitri doesn’t always have enough power to manifest and can be forced to leave a possessed person if a magic circle is drawn around the victim. Can be exorcised? (It was how Lily got rid of him but I assume that wouldn’t work here without her magic…) Any additional notes: It would be just Sitri himself without any of his legions of minions! And would it be okay if it first appeared in Lily’s apartment and then escaped by crashing out a window? I have a post idea and of course, she’d get it fixed afterwards.
Monster/Object: The Chamber of Horrors from the Wax Museum at Fisherman’s Wharf Description: An exhibit at the wax museum Lily visits several times in canon. She finds it creepy and tends to pass by quickly so it’s never described in great detail. But it is mentioned as having replicas of an electric chair and an iron maiden as well as figures of Dracula, Elvira, the Texas Chainsaw killer, and Lizzie Borden. Lily’s canon world is much like the real world and there was a wax museum at the real life Fisherman’s Wharf (it recently closed) so the exhibit would likely resemble the Chamber of Horrors that existed there with additional figures of famous monsters and reproductions of torture devices. Effects: Um, possibly scaring people or creeping them out? Weaknesses: They’re wax figures, so fire and heat. Plus, they’re inanimate. Any additional notes: I think it would be amusing if this appeared in the lobby at Shibusen. This is a bigger request so just the figures and props being scattered around would be fine if transplanting the whole room with the creepy lighting and everything is too much. I’m not completely sure how large it’s meant to be but I’m guessing it might fit within the space of a house?
