Character name: Miles Edgeworth Weapon form: A thin, three-foot rapier with a handle shaped like the king chess piece, a large round red pommel, and an intricately carved golden basket hilt partly covered by a...cravat. Yeah, sue me. /BA DUM TSH Weapon ability:
Low to medium resonance: Each strike of the rapier increases the chances of the enemy making mistakes in battle (not fatal ones, but mistakes nonetheless) by confusing him and numbing his critical thinking skills. The strike doesn't have to draw blood but it does have to be a strong one, not just a gentle tap or bump.
High resonance: Precognition. At random intervals during the battle, the Meister will be able to predict the enemy's possible next moves, or zero in on a weakness or opening in their defense. It won't be highlighted in the Meister's or Edgeworth's vision but they'll know where it is or what the next moves are. Edgeworth, however, will be able to sense where to strike or how to move if the resonance is strong enough. This does not automatically translate to movement; this does not prevent the Meister from fumbling his or her next move when taking advantage of this.
