Morning Training Coordination Post

Every morning, from six to nine in the morning, morning training takes place in the city, preparing the fighters of the city and giving everyone else a chance to work out, train, and learn as well. This gets played out roughly once a month in a log. The log will go up after the next day change, on Tuesday, which is March 29th in-game.

I'm doing something a little different this time - I'm clearing out all the teachers. If someone's still interested in teaching, please respond to this thread here and just say you still want to instruct and where. Or note if you're open to location, too. This way I've got an idea about how many still do want to do this. Teaching is considered a paid position and employment, paying ten Deathbucks an hour, three hours a day, seven days a week. Note that any location can have multiple people assigned to it. If someone's already teaching there and you want to teach as well, that's quite all right!

If a location does not have an instructor, it will not make the log. Exceptions are Breakfast, Finding a Partner, and the special-interest-group areas like the Watch, Sees, and the Medics.

Secondly, there is a thread for Feedback. Is something working for you? Not working well? Is there something you'd like to see or do in regard to training? Please let me know.

After those threads, feel free to make your own talking about what your character(s) will be doing and poke others to set stuff up.

The regular areas are :

FAQ: For people who have questions and need answers. Staffed by Maito Gai.
Breakfast: Providing food for those who come. All food-providers are given funds with which to buy the food and paid for the prep/cook time. Provided by Saya Tagaki.
Combat instruction: To learn or improve upon fighting techniques. Taught by Cloud Strife, Mickey Mouse, Auron.
Sparring: Show up, pick an opponent, and spar. Overseen by Amateresu, Spirit Albarn.
Weapon Transformation: Guiding new Weapons through the sometimes difficult process of finding a form and then re-finding their original one. Taught by Bakura Ryou, Yami Bakura, Aqua.
Soul Perception: If someone wants to find out more about their soul, what they are, and what they may potentially do. Overseen by Hades.
Partner Training: Guidance on how to work as partners. Taught by Spirit Albarn; Eve and Keroro
Weapons Handling Training: How to handle weapons and Weapons. Taught by Death the Kid with Liz and Patty.
Shooting Range: How to shoot. Taught by Naoto Shirogane, Maes Hughes.
Meister Ability Helpers: Learning what your meister ability is and how to use it. Taught by Kanji Tatsumi, Miles Edgeworth.
Finding a Partner: An area for unpartnered Weapons and Meisters to mingle in. Overseen by
Meditation: This month's novelty class is on focus and meditating. Taught by Hyuuga Neji.
Medics: A place for the medics to linger, recruit, and help anyone that's gotten hurt. Helping out are CR-S01, Rosalia Rossellini.
Watch: A place for the watch members to linger, recruit, and train. Interested observers welcome!
Sees: A place for the SEES members linger, recruit, and relax.
Hug Brigade: Offering encouragement through hugs. Staffed by Maes Hughes, Maito Gai.

Kanji's got a good grip on his Meister Ability... since he can't do much combat-wise due to his leg, he still wants to be useful in some way whether people like it or not.

So he'll help other Meisters, damn it!

Kanji and Lezard will be there!

If he's picked Kanji'll be helping people work out their Meister Ability kinks, but only after he's had a big breakfast. Huudel, would you like to do that little bit we talked about in Plurk at the breakfast table? That'd be pretty funny.

Otherwise he's taking it a little easy on the sparring, as much as he doesn't want to. His supervisor may have outright threatened to can his ass if he doesn't take another couple of days off to heal that leg. With that in mind, I'll be making an open thread for him as well for mingling. I know he has certain fluffy goddesses to pet, for starters.

Lezard, in the meantime, will be sitting in on the 'Finding A Partner', but won't exactly be looking for one. What he wants to do is resonate with every single person that approaches him and use his ability, Soul Read, for alternative purposes~ (As a reminder, he turns into a spellbook that allows the user to cast any of Lezard's magic of a certain element depending on the user's soul. Feel like being a sorcerer/sorceress for a day? Go for it!)

He'll also be open for other interaction, and he does work best when he's being pestered or is pestering Lily someone.

Ah, I should also note: Kanji's finished his projects from his previous entry! If your character wants another gift made for themselves, friends, or loved ones, they are also absolutely welcome to approach him for something to be made.

Neji will be teaching meditation for those whose souls need the extra stability or control over their abilities. May or may not become a regular class, pending on interest.

Hawkeye will be setting up with a dozen or so targets and a handful of ordinary long-range weapons to gauge the accuracy of various Meisters in an unofficial search for a partner.

Gai will be everywhere, including answering questions and directing people who need it to the right areas. He gets there early, at five, to set up and then cleans up after so he's there until ten if needed. He's cheerful and ever-willing to help.

Londo has a partner, so if there's an instructor he'll be at Parner Training. Otherwise he'll be grumping around, likely near the breakfast table, if anyone wants to run into him.

Lily doesn't usually go to morning training but she works at the park so if anyone wants her for something, let me know and I'll have her wander over to the training area.

Tenten will be running the weaponry area, if a bit distracted, because of Santana's deployment. So o/ If anyone wants to learn how to use a weapon you're free to find her.

Chika might just have to poke Tenten to figure out what's wrong, unless she finds out what happens in Hanabi's birthday party log, of course.

That said, she'd probably be training with Tenten a bit with the whole weapons thing, even if we don't end up threading it for whatever reason.

Oh training time!

Naoto will be back at the shooting ranges probably for most of the morning if not all. She'll be assisting people as well as perfecting her own aim. Also, Poe may or may not be around somewhere.

Amaterasu will be overseeing sparring with a main focus on Batch 4. However, if anyone wants her in the other batches, we can see. She'll probably trot around Finding a Partner before resuming her usual flower bed nap.

Rosalia will be helping the Medics; specifically, the First Aid instructions. She'll also wander over to practice her Weapon Transformation a little more before wandering off to look at all the plants nearby. If anyone wants to talk to her about the Emitter mission is free to; she's very unsure about actually fighting in the War.

CR-S01 will be in the medic area. If you want to log something specific that has to do with an injury or just plain want to ask him a question, feel free. I will roll with anything you want :]

I don't have many plans for Mithos. He'll just be around possibly with his dog. I might have him linger in the medic area though because a certain mentor of his keep getting injured g'dit as well as the finding a partner area. But I'm all for any sort of plotting.

hi there! this is probably totally out of left field (and also very late SORRY!!) but Kotetsu was paired with Mithos in the CR Roulette, and I wasn't sure of how to nab you to try and plan something out so I figured this would do. I understand if this is too last minute to work out with the morning training log but uuhh want to plot out some...thing... in the near future?!

Keroro will be at Morning Training with Eve, hanging out by himself in a shady corner with tea and a blanket. He's willing to share with anyone that comes by!

Sai will be around, getting underfoot and smiling cheerfully. If anyone really needs to be tormented that early in the morning, feel free to hunt him out.

And Shirogane is refusing to leave his apartment.

Atem will be at morning training since he's new and curious. He could be anywhere but he'll likely drop by the meister ability station and the shooting range. He also lacks a partner and will casually keep an eye out for potential persons but he won't say anything about that specifically.

Light will definitely be around since he has a lot to catch up on. He has no declared partner at he moment and will be very interested in learning about his capabilities as a meister.

Edgeworth is still around to help people figure out their Meister abilities, and hopefully by now after ages of being on the post and an extensive study of abilities he can pinpoint one after much logic-ing and narrowing down the possibilities depending on a person's strengths and skills. He partly does this for research.

People who are very pushy can try to make him use his Soul Talk ability to trigger their abilities into manifesting. Keyword being "try".

And he's open for sparring, actually! He still has a lot to learn about fighting, especially with using a sword and hand-to-hand. Thanks to Azusa's lessons and regular attendance with the adult beginners, Edgeworth can hold his own in a fight. Aw yeah.

Bakura will be there and teaching Weapon Transformation! [yeay, he's helping! Expect him to be far to cheerful, unless his evil not-twin shows] When he's not doing that, he'll be jogging around the training ground, looking for a Partner who's not evil and practicing at the shooting range.

And eating. A lot.

Chika's going to be around in the finding partner's area, the weapon training area, and wherever else I feel like it.

Mickey's going to either be teaching some combat training or training himself, depending on what happens with teacher selection thing.

Kaede will be sparring with Barnaby as requested by her father. May drop by the hug brigade later to see Hughes.

Takuto will be constantly going back and forth between the Watch and Finding A Partner stations (because Finding A Partner makes him unsure right now), with occasional stops in other areas if he sees someone he knows.

Alucard will be feeling very poorly but since dhampirs don't usually get sick, he might have to have someone point this out to him.

Yami Bakura will be a troll help teaching any aspiring Weapons how to transform properly. He will be also generally looking for strong Weapons, partner area and otherwise and might show up at the weapons training or shooting range.

Hades will be in charge of the Soul Perception area, I'm sorry for you all.
